Is he alright?” “He was transferred to the uptown recovery villa yesterday, but his surgical incision began bleeding severely an hour ago,” Evelyn wept quietly. “The private doctors there are corporate specialists, Lillian. They are terrifyingly cold. David is hysterical, he won't let them touch his face, and he keeps writing your name on his little white board. He says you are the only nurse who didn't look at him like an insurance liability. I know it is a massive imposition, but please, if you have any mercy, could you come to the clinic?
