View MorePenny and Jacob were born and left abandoned in a small town almost sixteen years asgo. They were found in a basket covered in a mans flannel shirt, near a Massey Pizza restaurant. They didn't know much about thier past; only a note saying
' Please keep my twins together I am unable to care for them, Thier names are Penny and Jabob'
The local news named them the Massey Twins. The names stuck. When no one came forward to claim the twins they ended up moving from one foster home to another. They never stayed long in each home. They were not bad kids, they kept mostly quiet and mostly to themselves. Penny was born unable to speak, but this was not discovered untill she was nearly ten years olf. Most of the foster parents assumed Jacob spoke up for Penny and let it be. At the age of three the twins had already been in three differnt homes. on the fouth home they were placed with an abusive older woman, she used to beat Penny for not talking when spoken to. The old woman would say its rude to not speak when spoken to and Jacob would get in trouble for trying to stop her. Even at three years old Jacob could speak very well and he was so smart. He would yell at the old woman for hurting his twin sister. But all this would earn Jacob his own beatings.
He tried to tell the old women his sister could not talk but the old woman never believed him. Penny would yell out slient screams. but nothing would come out but air and tears.
But Jacob could hear her screams in his head, he could hear her voice. she would sob and wail and beg him to tell her to stop. But no matter what Jacob said that old women never listened to him. It hurt him as much as it hurt her. They would get beatings with a long switch that Jacob would have to get from a tree in the back yard. He hated having to get the weapon what would be used on his defenseless sister and himself. They used to get beat several times each week and Jacob would have to get a new switch when the current one would break from overuse. The abouse also went as far as no dinner and being loced in thier rooms with they did not share, but Jacob would talk to his sister in his mind and keep her calm to help her feel better.
Jacob and Penny spent five years with the old women till she died, she was old after all, he body eventualy wore out. The twins were thankful for her death they were sad to moce again but at least they would no longer receive beatings from her.
Jacob protected his sister as well as he could during thoes five years. As they aged , he would tell his sister he would always protect her and take care of her, no matter what home they were sent to. The state became incolced with their care again after the old woman died and were moved to several more homes over the next two years. Jacob would always talk for his sister and most familys that took them in would think Penny would not talk because Jacob did it for her. Eventualle the state sent her to an ENT ( ear nose and throat ) doctor to find our if there was a freason she never spoke. By then they were ten years old. When they finaly found out Penny had no vocal cords at all. It was a birth defect that managed to get over looked for ten long years.
Where Penny had no vocal cords Jacob was gifted with speach at an early age, He was speaking in full sentences at the age of one with complete comprehension, which is how he was able to verbally defend his sister at such an early age.
Penny was very smart and did well in school, she was a straight A student as well as Jacob. The teacher just gave up calling on her and would pair the twins together. They had no friends; kids would stare at penny becase when someone new would talk to her she would just walk away, or her brother would speak for her and people were just uncomefortable with that. But the twins were not bothered by them, they had each other.
There was a time when they did try to teach Penny sign language, but she did not care to learn, it was easier for her to just talk to her brother. She did use hand gestures when communicating with her foster parents, especially if Jacob was not in the same room.
Since she had no outside friends, she just thought it was best not to get her hopes up. Penny was very shy. The twins would talk to each other all the time, they had long conversations in each others minds. Jacob always knew what Penny needed. Jacob did try to tell their foster families about how he can hear what she says but most people dismissed it as a twin connection.
The twins didn't know how they could talk to each other they just knew they were special somehow, but they did not know how special they really were. Penny and Jacob Massey are now fifteen years old. Penny has long stright as a arrow plain brown hair that lands at her hips. Her eyes are a crystal clear green, like looking at green sea glass. Which helps distract from her dull brown hair. Her brother Jacob also has brown hair wich he keeps like a military cut, high and tight. He also has the same crystal clear green eyes. They share very similar fratures. Even at fifteen years old Jacob is over six feet tall while Penny is about 5 foot 7 inches. Both have thin athletic bodies. Other then the difference in hight they share the same small noce and thin face ware Jacob is masculine and Penny is soft and feminin. Both lightly tanned skin and wide knowing eyes.

Chapter 52 Barnett looked just like Id imagine Albert Einstein would look like in real life, maybe a little bit younger in mid-forties. But I was bad at guessing ages, especially now that I know about werewolves. Since we age slower. Father doesn’t look more then forty. I’m not even sure how old mom and dad are. That’s something I’m going to need to find out. I don’t even know when their birthdays are. Even after almost three years of living here. I never thought to ask about such details. We never celebrated it before, just our birthdays ever mattered. Back to this Barnett guy. He was sitting with mom, in dad’s office. We seemed to have a lot of meetings in here. He had a stack of old leather-bound books siting on the table in front of him. Mom and Barnett looked like they were just casually talking like they were old friends. &nb
Chapter 51 Alpha Dillion and his Beta Arthur made their way to the fighting ring towards my brother. They stood side by side in a ready fighting stance. He stood in the middle waiting. Jacob didn’t even look phased from the first fight. They were going to go at him head on and all at once and not from opposite sides. I think they wanted to see what he would do with two at the same time. Jacob is fast on his feet and creative in his fighting. They stayed in human form and ran towards my brother. Dillion went high with his claws extended towards Jacob. Arthur went low. Arthur dove down towards his legs, he tried swiping with his claws extended to claw at his thigh. But my brother jumped over him up high in the air and summersaulted down and slid passing under Dillions launch. Dillion flew over Jacob not expecting his movements to be so f
Chapter 50 We sat in dad’s office for a while I was still trying to get my wolf to come forward to see if she can help me. ‘I’m hear.’ She said to me. ‘I’m always here I just watch. You’re doing fine not much more I can help you with right now.’ She told me. ‘Can you help me read their minds; I can’t seem to do it. Or they are just good at blocking me.’ I said to her. ‘They are literally speechless there is nothing to read now. But I let you know if I since any danger. Don’t worry you have gotten a lot stronger with your magic.’ She told me. I told my dad, Bobby, and Jacob what my wolf said. Jacobs wolf on the other hand didn’t like either of the guys. He didn’t trust them yet. Jacob said he promised his wolf a run later tonight just to keep him from pouncing on the two men. A run tonight would be nice. Bobby and I haven’t had a run together since we met. Things just kept happening. &nb
Chapter 49 It was Wednesday today, and Alpha Dillion would here in the afternoon. The sun was trying to get in my windows. I was sprawled out across Bobby. He was on his back and my head was on his chest my leg swung over his body. I lay there listening to his breathing. I think he was still asleep. So, I tried to softly move off him to get up and attend to my bathroom needs. I was almost up off his body when grabbed me tightly and brought me back to his chest. “Don’t you dare move.” He spoke. ‘But I need to pee.’ I pleaded with him. He let me go but gave me a peck on my nose first. “Hurry back its cold without you and it’s too early to get up. You wore me ou
Chapter 48 It’s been a week since dad called Alpha Dillion. He was coming for a visit tomorrow. The entire house was in a frenzy getting rooms ready for him and his men. He was bringing his Beta, and a few other guards also an historian. The Y boys would be staying in one of the rooms, dad added bunk beds to fit more people. He wanted all the guys to stay here while Alpha Dillon was in town. He said he was our uncle, but dad wasn’t trusting anyone until they proven themselves.Things have been quite all week. Bobbies mother was put to death last Friday. He didn’t go but Jacob and dad were there. We spent the day in my room just spending time together. Bobby wanted to remember his mother as the one who loved him growing up and not the one who became twisted. Even at the end she would not apologize. The real enemy was Dr Alfred. He somehow convinced her to be this twi
Chapter 47 *Alpha Carter* Once the new group of boys were brought up to speed and I sent them to bed for the night. I stayed up with Joann. We have been spending the last week pouring over any books or documents we could find. Even anything paranormal that might relate to our situation. I was impressed how well Penny could wiz out of the room and back so easily now she called it blinking, because that’s how fast it looked. No doubt she’s been practicing behind my back. I’m proud of her though she’s taking this rather well, she’s tougher than she looks. Our new theory is the Doctor might need the healing abilities for some reason. Maybe for himself or someone else. The men I had sent to watch Bobby’s home said they haven’t seen any s
