I hear Lesha say with a grin on her face as she watches us. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Ms.Ox, I promise not to keep her out too late." I say as I hold out my hand to shake hers. Her grandmother looks down at my hands without moving at all, and I start to feel uncomfortable and slightly awkward. She looks straight in my eyes with a serious expression on her face. "I expect her to be back here no later than 11pm and I am choosing to trust you with her safety, so if anything happens to her, you'll have me to deal with." Ms.Ox says sternly as she extends her hand and grips mine with a lot of strength that wasn't expected at all.

"Hazel, are you alright? Seems like you're sweating." "Yes... I.. I am Fine it was just a bit hot in the bathroom." I made a lame excuse and ran from there. Jacqueline and I went to the waiting area where we waited for our bus when we saw Daniel hanging out with another senior named Demi. Now I was sure why Joyce was so angry today. I felt Joyce was just overreacting. I mean she had a male bestfriend and it was totally fine for Daniel to have female friends too. "Ah. I wish he was single." Is that what you're thinking?" Jacqueline pinched me and spoke in a teasing way.

My brain stalled as I had no idea where this conversation was heading. He settled into the stool across from me, holding the syringe just like he held his cigarette. “Think about it. No Alpha wants to become an Omega. But Omegas? They would give anything to stop being society's toy.” “So the experiment failed?” “Of course it did, it is impossible to turn omegas into Alphas.” Foxen smiled, too quick, too knowing. “But you see, failure is expensive, especially when other companies are involved. Vance Pharmaceuticals flipped it and created the first compound that flopped. You see, it was a disaster. So the organization buried it.”

She pouted and said in a spoiled tone, "Hmph. You've gotten sick of me already, haven't you? That's why you won't let me sit on your lap." I hurriedly explained, "How could I ever get sick of you? I'd do anything to have you sit on my lap. "But this is the road test, not the field test. For the field test, we're in a closed lot, and no one is watching. But for the road test, we go on public roads, and the police might stop us." Alice put her hands on my thigh and begged pitifully, "I already failed the field test four times. I really can't fail this one, or I'll have to start all over."
