She moved in for a hug, which I accepted, and then her eyes flickered to Kelani. Rose was a werewolf as well. In fact, she was one of the alumni of the academy. Many of the students in the academy had nowhere else to go after finishing their studies. They were orphans or just abandoned kids by their parents after the latter realized they had special abilities. So, the Academy had made a special spot for those and anyone who intended to stay instead of going to the real world to explore other possibilities.

Dera and her mom entered the other car as they drove to Frost Academy. Dera POV I plugged my headphones as I listened to You should be sad by Halsey. I saw as we passed some big buildings and even some schools , we passed Pearl Academy , Hallel college Blossom highschool. Then my mom shook me as we came down from the car. Woah....... This School was big!!! It was painted blue and white , there was a water fountain at the middle and some students roaming around the school. The school was to resume next week but as a boarder, you have to resume a week earlier.

"This pamphlet includes your room key, your class schedule, and your bank information through Divinity Credit Union." I open the file and look at my schedule. I have Sparring, Angelic & Demonic History, Magical Studies, and Magical Enhancement. The classes seemed interesting enough, I turned the next page, and my eyes widened, my eyebrows almost shooting off my head. "Umm, Headmaster Simmins, where did this money come from?" "Ah yes," He said, glancing over my shoulder and looking at the page I was on. "That is a monthly stipend provided by the Academy; we want to ensure that our students never go without."

Alex's POV: The academy feels strange that morning. Not loud. Not quiet. Just waiting. I stand in the main hall with the rest of the students while Coach Vega reads the announcement board. The air smells like metal and morning dew drifting in from the open windows. Everyone is restless after the trial sessions. Muscles sore. Minds sharper. Coach Vega clears his throat. “Listen carefully,” he says. His voice is calm but heavy. “Due to the Decade Mate Moon, the academy will close for three days starting tonight.”

The bus continues to fill up steadily, with students seating themselves next to their mates or their friends. Outside my window, Acadia Academy looks like a fortress; it’s spirals and Gothic architecture reaching up to the bright blue, cloudless sky above. The autumnal colors of the falling leaves on the maple, oak, and sycamore tress bathes the whole campus in magnificently vivid shades of yellow, orange, and red. A sense of nostalgia overcomes me suddenly.

I sniffled, rubbing the lonesome tear threatening to fall off her face. Instantly, Hilda held my hands in hers and warned with concern, “Kate, you can’t go to Umbra Academy. They’ll shred you alive over there.” “I know, Hilda. But there’s nothing I can do. My fate is sealed.” I said with defeat, lowering my head. Umbra Academy was a school for the elite of shifters and witches where they were taught how to rule and steer ahead in this power-hungry world. Although it seemed like a promising place, bullying and murder were often found to take place on its campus.

Gad comforted him. "What is the academy like?" Theodore was curious to know. "It's just mostly young demons around our age, we have different teachers who teach us various subjects like Defense, Element Control, telekinesis, history and many other subjects. Master is one of the teachers as well" "What are the other students like?" "Normal, just like every group of young people. We have the popular students, the smart students and the ordinary students" "What kind of student do you think I would be?" Theodore asked Gad.

I swallowed hard and dragged my gaze away from the open training field ahead. I wasn’t ready. I wasn’t rebuilt. Home of egos, drama, and the best academic program on this side of the continent.”

I dragged myself out of bed, my muscles aching from yesterday's beating. The Vampire History classroom was in one of the older parts of the academy. Stone walls covered in tapestries showing bloody battles and dark ceremonies. Rows of wooden desks faced a massive blackboard. About twenty students were already seated—mostly vampires, with a few humans scattered in the back. I took a seat in the last row, trying to make myself invisible.
