It looks as normal as it could be. "I did it..." she whispered when the crow stopped squawking and fixed its gaze upon her. Karmina held the candle just a tad bit closer and noticed the blood that stained its dark feathers was also covered in black ink. She reached out cautiously and ran her fingers along its feathers, the black tainted blood smeared her fingers. As she smiled, the sense of relief washing over her, the crow's body expanded. First in its belly, then its head, until its body ruptured. She let out a scream as feathers, blood and bones splattered her and the inside of her hut.

The crow in my novel world is a vampire friend, the one who always reports to the vampire leader is a black crow like the crow in front of me right now. Due to fear, I couldn't move an inch. My body felt frozen seeing and hearing the crows voice. I should now cover my ears with everything so I don't hear the sound, so I can move and not be stiff like a dead fish these days. It didn't take long before the crow flew off, and I breathed a sigh of relief. I was only able to move my body when the crow left.

Possibility. By evening, the city felt heavier. Storm clouds gathered low and bruised — pressing against the skyline like something impatient. Jamie walked into Bar Della Luna with that same pressure sitting under his ribs. I had survived, yes, but at what cost? Every life I touched had become collateral. Every step I took was a risk.

Sienna’s throat locked. “What’s that—” The wall behind them cracked, a loud snap splitting concrete, widening fast. Water roared in, black and freezing, smashing her legs out from under her. She went down, Roman’s hand grabbing her arm, but the flood climbed quick, and something crashed overhead—wood splintering, stone falling, the house breaking apart.

I rolled my eyes at him. “I know your scent Raven. Mission accepted. My jewellery is onyx and silver, dark and glossy against my skin. Finally, Mum places the black crown gently on my head. It’s made of delicate metal vines and onyx stones, shaped to look like it grew right out of the shadows. And it completes me. I don’t just look like a queen—I look like his queen. “You’re absolutely stunning,” Mum says, adjusting the crown like she’s placing it on actual royalty. “Caden’s going to pass out.” “Good,” I smirk. “Let the man suffer.”

Roxie's mouth hit the forest ground when the wolf looked like he wouldn't be able to ever get up again. The man's eyes hardened as he let out a deep growl. Mist covered his body, and in front of her eyes, his garments tore, his bones violently fractured, and his features changed to those of a wolf. Roxie's mouth widened even more as the man morphed into a black wolf. She blinked again and again, praying this was another nightmare—She had to wake up soon!

I nodded, “In honesty, I’m not that sort of person, but yes I do want to get revenge. I’m not usually violent, but I just feel like I didn’t deserve any of this. The ones who deserve this is them.” God said, “You’ve got a point there, but please give me a second, while I transform so that it’ll be easier to communicate.” His body soon became transparent and it looked to be shrinking to her size. He cleared his throat suddenly and the air beside her changed. He was standing right next to her on the cloud that had expanded.
