" You always look pretty," I whispered when her door closed. That was true. Millie was a beautiful, natural beauty, unlike many other women I have met. Besides, she was kind and caring about others.

We arrived at Robert’s office not much later. I had kind of assumed we would be going to meet him, and as it was in the middle of a weekday, there was really only one place he could be. The man was a workaholic after all. I spent the entire time chatting with Mahlia, who was much friendlier than I had ever thought a lawyer could be. She told me about the dorky guy she had been seeing, and we had a good laugh about men always thinking heart necklaces are cute.

She looked at her with a coquettish complaint and plopped herself down on the empty seat next to her. “What is it?” Trinity pinched between her brows, looking tired. Said someone was Millie Hill. She had spent years working happily with Trinity and was also a significant award-winning actress in the industry. She was one of the outstanding performers when the female artists had worked together to embarrass Michelle back at the Tanners’ event.

I fell asleep too. I opened my eyes slowly and turned my head hoping to see Ivory but Millie was laying beside me. She licked my face and I sat up straight immediately. "Morning.." I turned to see Ivory just got out of the shower and I smiled looking at her. "What's with that face?" She looked at me confuse but I decided to turn to Millie. "Hello Millie." I hugged her and pulled the blanket up again. "I have work, Leon." She said and I pretended to sleep again.

“Not happening.” I arch a brow at Millie, who hurriedly throws up her hands. “Not in a weird way! It would just be... hilarious.” Millie’s attempt at redemption isn’t very convincing, but my attention shifts to her outfit. She’s completely transformed with her short hair styled differently and dyed an electric blue to match her costume (Harley Quinn, naturally). Her cropped jacket shows off her abs, and those fishnets… Yeah, I’m officially not allowed to judge her thirst comments when I’m standing here metaphorically dying of thirst myself.

She didn’t have any makeup on, but she still looked her best—because no makeup in the world was good enough for her.
