OMERTÀ
"Second group — Vito, Lorenzo, Salvatore — you’ll be working the docks near Baia Sant'Angelo. They’ve been quiet for too long, and quiet never means nothing. Stay sharp."
Vito’s fingers tapped against his belt, restless. He always hated waiting, but the docks required patience. I hoped he'd find some before the day was through.
"Third group," I said, meeting the eyes of the last cluster. "Matteo, Davide, Giovanni — you're with me. We'll take the northern road through Monte Ferrano. Reports say there's been movement between there and Villa di Corvo. Could be shipments, could be bodies moving in and out. Either way, we’re getting answers tonight."
