One Act Play Example Story Novels & Stories

Jasmine was watching the play with her face resting on one hand. The comedy play was based on a historical romantic story where a devil comes to rescue a princess who had been imprisoned for years. The princess hits the devil with a broom. They fight a lot. During the play, Jasmine imagines herself dressed as a princess and fighting with Eric, who appears as the devil. Eventually, to stop the fight, the devil kisses the princess. Watching this scene, Jasmine’s eyes widened, and she said, “Ahh, cheater, I will kill you, Eric!”

Of course we started the day out with the very first play, a beautiful interesting classical tale called Lady Windermere's Fan. I had rented out an entire theatre for just the two of us, so he could enjoy his plays with the perfect actors and actresses that I had flown in from all parts of the world. All for this man right here and I think he's more than happy right now than he was four hours ago.

Though I was dressed in expensive clothes, it was not easy for anyone to just guess it without either being the designer of the clothes herself or looking at it carefully. Secondly, my face was natural without makeup. I had no idea I was coming to the audition today Marina just sprang that up on me. Even if I did, there was no way I wasoukd wear as much make-up as Lady what's her name over there. As I read the script further, I understood what the play was truly about. It was about a young woman who fell in love with another woman husband after they had a night stand at a hotel. After the woman found out the man was married, she wanted to forget about him and move on with her life, but then

Instead of screaming hysterically at him, I just looked at him calmly and presented him with divorce papers. "Are you still insisting on lying to me? Or rather, are you still trying to lie to yourself? You're the one who said you didn't mind I had an ex-boyfriend, then you turned around and told other people that you thought that was gross. "Just admit it. You're tired of me," I said, prying his fingers off my clothes one by one. "Do you really love me, Xavier?" I continued. "Not even your father could be loyal to your mother. Do you really think you'd be any different? You managed to con everyone into believing your act—even yourself."
