One More Chapter Coin Novels & Stories

"Y-You're the coin I paid 3,000 dollars for?" Eleanor nodded timidly. My mind raced back to that morning's events. A good friend of mine, Robert Thorne, introduced me to a website supposedly selling collectible coins. The prices ranged from 500 to 5,000 dollars, and I was confused about why these regular coins were so expensive. It was not until Robert laughed at my ignorance that I realized I had it wrong. The website was actually a front for something else entirely. The coins represented different women, with manufacturing dates indicating birth years and sizes corresponding to measurements. As expected, the higher the price, the better the "quality".

Matteo asked, his interest had risen. Organic solid gold, heavy with thick deep inscriptions. Each side of the coin had different faces carved on them. The coin was resting on Matteo's right palm. Lexi had lightly tossed him the coin to check its quality. He was not going to fall for a fixed game. He tossed it back at her and she deftly caught it. Matteo poured himself another glass of brandy and drank while waiting for Lexi's gamble. "You took a good look at the coin I presume, so let's play a game of heads or tail, best one out of one," Lexi continued.

My editor finally corrected one mistake. For my new readers who opened this book starting from 4th July 2023, Chapter 91: For Love would be the same thing as the first apology Chapter. But for the old readers, this chapter would be the second free Chapter to make up for having to pay for two repeated chapters. New readers only have to pay for one repeated Chapter, so this chapter will make up for it. Once again, I'm sorry. please enjoy 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹***********

After that, I reveal a blue coin, and then a green one. “Choose a green one,” Dawn orders as if I control what color I will pick next. I hover my hand over one coin near the center then move to hover over another coin in the corner. “Follow your first instinct,” Dawn encourages. I press my finger on the center coin. It’s green. It’s green! I just won $915.72! Dawn leaps from her seat, wrapping her arms around my neck as I remain seated. “You did it!” “I can’t believe it,” I whisper, my breath escaping me.

Like he’s practiced it repeatedly. “No,” he says, voice smooth as silk left in shadow. “I think I’ve already found what I need.” He places a single silver coin on the counter. One of the old ones. The kind that shouldn’t be in circulation anymore. I don’t breathe until the door clicks shut behind him. I step back and lift the coin. It’s cold. Not just to the touch, but right to the bone. I whisper a spell over it and nothing happens. Which is worse than if it had flared.

I asked quickly. "What pack they come from" he shruggs as he leaned away from his chair. "For example, our Pack gets a light shade of gold, but I know one of our allies up in Canada gets a dark hue of blue." Adam smiles "now why are you so curious?" he asked wiggling his eyebrows. "I was just curious " I say trying to maintain a straight face. "Right, so this has nothing to do with Adria?" Adam says questionably. I signed "Adria's eyes. They glowed silver."

“Show us.” I pulled a vial from my satchel… a thin glass tube filled with pale liquid Eryna had taught me to mix for testing metals. I dipped the rod inside and unscrewed the first jar. The coins inside gleamed bright bold. I lifted one, set it on the floor, and dropped a measure of liquid into it. The droplet sat like water on stone, unmoving. “These are real coins,” I said. “What are you doing?” Cael asked, uneasy.

If I didn't go back,Zoe,Noah and Winnie,oh especially Winnie would see me as a bad person. I took out a coin from my pocket.I was going to toss it to decide. If it was the front,I would go back.Otherwise,I wouldn't. Raising my head,I felt wind blew against me as I threw the coin up in the air. The coin spun a few times and landed on my hand. Looking down,I was not nervous at all. I stared at it at the center of my palm. It was the back of the coin. **************************** "Hello,Cora…Cora…"Winnie was still speaking thinking Cora was on the phone.

“The great Domenico’s grandson.” She rolled her eyes. “You forgot to add delusional.” I wasn’t done. “You got almost poisoned to death but somehow had visions of Atlantis…same goes for that Enlightenment water back at the Monastery” I leaned back, studying her. “It doesn’t make sense. Unless you already know something you’re not telling me.” She looked at me strangely. ”What else is there to know…?” Then I saw it by accident. I brushed more sand away from the hull. Pressed deep into the wood and rusted metal, half-swallowed by time, was a coin. Not just any coin.
