“Hi Orli, I’m your daddy. I-I already love you so much, sweetpea, and I’m gonna make sure you have the best of everything.” I pause for a moment and blink back tears. Orli opens her eyes and looks at me with a furrowed brow before yawning widely. It’s like looking at a baby version of Zara. Besides her hair and eyes, she has the same nose and rounded features as her mother. I imagine a future version of her with long blonde curls and shining blue eyes. I can’t help but smile and wipe my tears away with my sleeve.

” Ogra rubbed her eyes. “That cloth is pretty dirty I will try to find you a clean one. The last thing you need is an eye infection.” Filled with concern for her family friend she reached for the bandage and began to remove it again in hopes to ease the itching. When she removed the bandage, she saw that Ogra’s eyes had reformed under the now healthy looking eyelids. “Does that feel better?”

She said in a deep voice and then began to laugh, and I had no choice but laugh as well, joining her madness. It was one of those vending machines, Livie always had to get one of those plastic capsules. “Do you want a token?” I asked when I reached her side, she just nodded without taking her eyes off the plexiglass sphere. “Here” I said when I returned to her side, noticing her still in the same place.

She just glanced and nodded, seeing Lani run for help before burying her head in the pillow. “Why didn’t anyone help you? Why are you alone with so many things in your hands?" “I-I refused them. I wanted to do it myself.” Opal replied in a soft voice. "Opal also liked to shop. You two could be a good pair." Layla commented. "So, what have you bought?" Lani was excited to see some new things. Opal felt unaccustomed. She never saw someone expressing their enthusiasm this much as she felt that Lani was jumping in excitement.

Hana then carefully protected the drop in her hand and said to Roley, "Close your eyes and slowly feel it." Roley found a nearby chair and sat down, his hands clasped together in trembling and arousal. For many years, Roley's only wish in the world finally came true. Roley's eyes closed together and waited. Hana slowly placed the droplet on the side of Roley's left eye, waiting until it dissolved entirely into the skin around her eyes. Hana found a chair to sit down and wait.
