LENA

LENA

Lena's POV. “Hello, ma'am,” the doctor waved his left hand, and felt my pulse with his right hand. “How many fingers am I holding up?” “Can I get a name? Can you speak?” He continued, not even giving me a chance to think or respond. He suddenly stopped and pointed a little fluorescent light in my eyes. I squinted and groaned inaudibly from lying stiff for far too long. “Four, My name is Lena, and I think I can… talk,” I replied in a second, gulping as the man behind him moved closer and fixed his gaze on me.

At Arm's length

At Arm's length

Just kill me now I raised up my head to watch Alonge, he looked unbothered like he knows what he was doing. "I'm not sleeping " Alonge replied, picking up a transparent glass of water and gently sipping the content. "Then why are your eyes like this?" Lolu asked again trying to roll up his eyes. Probably trying to hide the black spot of his eyeballs. "Like how? " Alonge asked dropping his fork and the glass of water. Why is he doing this? "Where is the dark part of your eyes? Is your eyes paining you? " Lolu asked again, he was such a precocious boy.

This book was a page turner from start to finish, I couldn't put it down once I started. Full of humour and wit, and some of the most ridiculously funny characters I have ever had the pleasure of reading about. This book is worth five stars and more. Kudos to the writer?
Illustrious Joy
An inciting read with spurs of savory romance, humour and subtle wit. I so much love the bond between Adesewa and Kenechukwu. The writer's pen keeps brewing scintillating scenes about them that it leaves me with an insatiable urge for more chapters. Big ups to you dearie❤

True Luna

True Luna

A few moments later, I was standing on all fours, my white fur shimmering under the moonlight. I took a deep breath and lifted my head proudly. My friends and family turned around and gasped. “She is white.” Luna Gloria said. I looked at her and cocked my wolf head. Is that something special? ‘We are a pure white wolf, Emma. Nobody is a pure white wolf.’ Eliza said. ‘What do you mean?’ I asked her. ‘There are white wolves. I have seen them before.’

Really great story! Read it twice! But I could really do without the constantly "love" and "baby" aaaall the time. It's kind of weird that her brother calls her "love". For me that's what your "mate" should call you, just not constantly hehe. But, that's just me. Still as mentioned, great story! :)

I love the story it's very interesting hard to stop reading sometimes. I am wondering why the rest of the books are not on this site? I found it on another site it has 5 books. I read them all, but you left book 5 at a cliffhanger. Can you let me know when the 6th book is out. It's exciting!

OBLIVION

OBLIVION

Finish Minnie, smirking. "But nice try though," Johan smirked. "Good job," says a voice that clearly is from a voice changer. We all look back to the television, the screen is now purple. "You may enter, liberos meos." I smile proudly, watching the wall behind the desk slowly opens to a tunnel. Still smiling, I enter the tunnel behind Kelly and Britt. I was so proud of myself after taking down Hade, that I didn't notice Scout was tense ever since La Reu spoke.

Love in the Eye of the Storm

Love in the Eye of the Storm

] He sent a photo of the ripped-up divorce agreement. And then another photo arrived. This time, it was of our wedding rings. Tristan: [You haven't thrown these out. You still love me, don't you?] Tristan: [Come back to me. You're still my wife.] A hard-to-describe bitterness churned within me, as if it were tearing at my throat. I froze. An unbidden tear slipped down my cheek, blurring the image for a moment. When I focused again, something caught my eye—a small, barely visible object lying at the edge of the photo, almost hidden by the rings. I zoomed in, shaky fingers hovering over the screen.

The Eye That Listened

The Eye That Listened

Hearing your thoughts and seeing what you can see… What's the difference? I did not reply. I merely showed her what the difference was. In front of Snowie's stunned gaze, I thrust my finger into my right eye and forcibly plucked my eyeball out. Of course, there would not be blood or gore. After all, my right eye was a prosthetic.

The Code of The Alpha

I reached over to turn on the lamp that sat next to my bed, gasping as it illuminated the mud that was trailed across my room where Luca had walked "What the hell is the matter with you---" I looked up to see an incredulous look plastered on Luca's face, stopping short in the middle of my sentence as I took in his features that were now fully visible in the glow of my lamp. Luca's disheveled and damp obsidian-black hair fell in his face, falling just short of slightly arched eyebrows that gave him a stern and focused expression. His eyes were a pale green that reminded me of sea glass; a sharp and piercing gaze made me lean away, feeling as though I would melt under its intensity.

Contracted: The Billionaire’s Husband From The Commercial

Éclat Perdu. And then the face. A young man with hair the color of white-gold held a perfume bottle like it was the only anchor in a storm. But it wasn't the hair that stopped Lorenzo's heart. It was the eyes. The color of amber held up to a dying fire. But it wasn’t the bottle Lorenzo saw. It was the eyes. The color of amber held up to a dying fire and in them… a sorrow so profound, so familiar, it felt like a physical blow to Enzo’s chest.

A love for an eye

A love for an eye

I couldn't help but cry silently. Why? Why me? I haven't done anything, my family hasn't down anything wrong, why are we being punished then? What did I do to deserve this? *sob* "Enough with the crocodile tears, no one's watching". My head jolted towards that voice as tears volunteer escaped. He stood there at the door frame, in his boxers and watched me intensely. I felt instantly uncomfortable when his eyes started to scan me like an object. He moved closer towards me as I cautiously took each step back, hitting the wall as he closed the gap between us.
