She repeated the same process she had with the other books she'd picked—dusted it's shabby cover to see it's name. Unfortunately and very shockingly, too, there was none inscribed on it. That was odd. She flipped the book to the other end but nothing. It was empty of inscriptions, just like the front was. Slowly, she opened the book to first page.

The cover was locked with a handle that was shaped like a figure with elongated arms, he forced the lock. Nothing happened, he wasn't losing hope. With one movement of his hand, he removed the layer of dust.

" Now what book are you reading?." he asked and I turned to the cover for him to see. he stood up to check the library for another copy while I kept my eyes focused on the book. Shawn and I were very much alike but we can only work as friends and not as a couple. Adam on the other hand didn't like most of what I was interested in but we mixed so well. it was true that opposites do attract and I was attracted to my exact opposite.
