He looked at the building and spoke. “It is an orphanage.” I tilted my head at the words. “What is an orphanage?” I had never heard that word spoken before. I had no knowledge of what it meant. He frowned at the thought as he spoke. “It is a place for babies, kids, and young adults to go when they have no one, and nothing. It is a home for the homeless young. Once you are 15, you are put out on the streets to find your own way. Whether it be the women through marriage to get a home from a man or a man working for a stranger for a home.” I could not believe what I was hearing. I thought that all kids had someone to take care of them. I had no clue that there were kids on the street. It was ho

THE STAINED LUNA: An Affair With My Mate's Father

THE STAINED LUNA: An Affair With My Mate's Father

An actual real expression. After bidding farewell to the children, we made our way to the next orphanage, located on the outskirts of the city. The orphanage, named Blessed Home, had a more serene atmosphere compared to the first one. However, we soon learned that the matron had been involved in a minor accident and was currently receiving treatment at the hospital. Despite this setback, we decided to wait and see if she would return. As we waited, we engaged in conversation with some of the nuns who worked at the orphanage. They shared stories about the children and the challenges they faced in running the facility.

IN THE ARMS OF THE SNIPER

IN THE ARMS OF THE SNIPER

She should have been more grateful for her life and less complaining to her father. "Aiden, I think we came too early." Calistha gently nudged Aiden's arm when the two of them were in front of the orphanage which looked deserted and desolate. In the orphanage yard, Calistha can see some typical children's toys scattered in every corner of the large orphanage yard. Then on the right and left side of the orphanage, lined with very large pine trees and thick leaves, which emit a calming aura on the orphanage. Seeing how well-maintained the orphanage is, Calistha is sure that the orphanage must have many great donors. No wonder her father gave advice to put Luciana into this orphanage after her

Honey, You're a Billionaire?

Honey, You're a Billionaire?

"Okay then. I'll change into it." She seemed to agree reluctantly and then walked to the orphanage with him. There were only a few people inside. Children who were once homeless lived here. As they grew up, they either left after turning 18 or were adopted and rarely came back. Several parts of the orphanage had become dangerous due to disrepair. But luckily, no more orphans lived here. Only the old women who worked here were left, managing the orphanage in retirement. Yesterday, the Youngs sent people to clean up the place. So today, the place looked much better. Rose looked at the decorations around the orphanage. It was as if they would celebrate something.

Orphan Alpha

Orphan Alpha

She looked not a day over thirty, but she chose to dress like an elderly librarian from the fifties. “As you are aware, Hannah, you age out in a month.” Her words wiped the laughter from my face. “How is the search for a job and apartment going? Have you found anything yet?” “No.” my shoulders slumped heavily, “Nobody wants to take a chance on an orphan with no work history.” “Well. I have great news than!” Barb chuckled. “I’ve recently been authorized to add another caregiver to the orphanage. The position comes with room and board as you will be responsible for the younger children and their needs round the clock.”

Rejection and YOU

Rejection and YOU

She said the little girl’s parents died in a tragic car accident and they left her alone without a trace of any members of her family. “I feel sorry for the child,” I sighed while dancing with a sleeping little boy in my arms. If I wasn’t mistaken, the orphanage had already thirty little angels in their care. My involvement in the institution helped me realize that even though I suffered from depression for what happened to me, I’m more fortunate than them because I got the chance to be with my parents while growing up until I reached my early teens.

"I'll accompany you." The girls took the kids to the orphanage. They gave them warm clothes and took care of them. Soon the kids befriended the kids of the orphanage. They learnt that those kids were twins but orphans. Their parents left them after they got divorced and neither of their families took the responsibility to look after the kids. The girl being the older sibling, she used to take care of her brother even though they had to live on the streets. The kids seemed so cute and innocent that Garaine couldn't help but give them shelter and a warm family.

My Ex-Wife Is An Assasin

My Ex-Wife Is An Assasin

I said to him and he started the car. The orphanage was just like the same, the children in it played around and giggled. They were free. Unaware of the world outside them. Vivian grew up here. Back before I bought this place. It was a child's living nightmare. When I married her I bought this one orphanage so she would feel okay and free about herself. "Mr billionaire is here!" A ginger head boy said as he tugged at my shirt. "Hey pepper," I rubbed his hair.

My Ex Wants It After the Divorce

My Ex Wants It After the Divorce

She was clear about what she loved and hated, and Edward understood her well. "But that's not even the cruelest thing they've done. The cruelest thing is that there's no room for mistakes. Once they're deemed unworthy, there's only death," Liana said coldly. "An orphanage, isn't that supposed to be a home for orphans? But this Orfanato de Anjos is nothing but a hell that has claimed so many innocent lives!" "We can kill them all if you want," Edward said directly. "Just say the word, and a river of blood will flow."

This book is one of a kind…well written full of suspense and thrill. Not a floppy romance story where the leading character always festured as an underdog, no backbone…at least Liliana is portrayed with integrity and humbleness .........

I CANNOT RATE THIS BOOK YET. I HAVE TO READ UNTIL THE MIDDLE OF IT. I HOPE IT WILL NOT REACH A THOUSAND CHAPTERS LIKE THE OTHERS THAT I'VE STARTED READING AND EVENTUALLY I STOPPED BECAUSE OF THE SCHEMES AND TWISTS WHICH DRAGGED THE STORY THAT MAKE IT BORING.
