Edward Leaving Bella Novels & Stories

"You are talking back to me for this dirt" He asked madly. "She is my sister... I love her" Jasmine said firmly. "She is not going to step into my house, Jasmine... Have i made myself clear." He yelled. "Don't worry, I don't want to stay in your house either... We are leaving... We don't need your toxic house." Bella replied. "Jasmine?" Carl looked at her shocked. "What is this?... You are leaving your father for this girl?" He looked at Amanda.

Bella flinched at my sudden movement, her wide eyes locking onto mine as I reached for her hand, holding it gently despite the storm raging within me. "Where are we going, Edward?" she asked, her voice filled with uncertainty. I gazed down at her, attempting to soften the harshness in my tone. "I am going to teach you how to protect yourself. I cannot bear to lose you like I lost Ara. If you ever feel distant, if you ever feel like I am not present enough, then come with me. Train with me. Learn to fight. I swear you will not come to harm." Her shocked expression slowly transformed into understanding. She nodded, her voice filled with determination. "If you believe it is necessary, Edward, t

“Then let it. Because the truth is stronger than rumor. And anyone who knows you, knows us—will see it.” For a while we just sat there. Holding each other in the quiet. Then my phone buzzed. I reached for it, frowning. A message from Tobias. Just leaving the office. Dean’s name popped up in an offshore flag. Edward, call me. Edward saw it. “Damn.” He stood, kissed me quickly, then straightened his cuffs. “I’ll have to go. This might be the break we’ve been waiting for.” I nodded. “I’ll be okay. Bella’s stopping by later.”

The man realized, there wouldn't be any opening he had to get into her heart. “Alright, let's go to the hospital. I'm starting to feel dizzy,” Edward said trying to be strong even though his heart was torn. “We won't be in touch in the future, I'm leaving in two days, my flight is on Afgan's wedding day.” Edward looked deeply at Adelia, their car had arrived in front of the hospital and they were still connected in an unfinished conversation. “You want to just disappear? including disappearing from me? Is all this fair to you?”

My Mom said, and I believe in her statement. "Yeah, Mom!. Everything is going to be alright". I said before focusing back on my food so that my parents can excuse me when I'm done eating….. so that I can peacefully cry….. and ponder on what they had just said. "Cecelia!. Edward is such a jerk for leaving you like that okay". My Mom said. 'Huh?. How on Earth does my Mom know that Edward left me?.... Whereas I didn't tell her?'. I asked myself.

As soon as the maid left to get Bella, my guard walked up to me with something in his hands. "What is this?" I asked, about to sip from my wine. "This is from Mrs. Coleman, sir. I think it's a divorce paper," he said, leaving me astonished. "Divorce paper?" I uttered it, looking at the booklet in his hands. Isabel grabbed it and confirmed it was the same papers I gave Bella some time ago. "Oh my gosh! She signed it! " She laughed in excitement, showing me Bella's signature. But it didn't move me like I thought. This felt strange to me.

"I’m going to pretend I never saw this. But if you break her heart—" "I won’t," Edward said immediately, the humor gone from his voice. Bella studied him for a moment, then nodded. "Good. Carry on." She winked at me and slipped out, pulling the door closed behind her. The silence that followed was heavy. I leaned back against the shelf, covering my face with my hands. "I want to disappear." Edward stepped closer, gently pulling my hands down. "Hey." "I can’t believe that just happened." He smiled, soft and a little awed. "She seemed… happy."

The night before Edward was officially crowned Don, we gathered together to drink and celebrate. Someone suggested playing a game of “Never Have I Ever.” That was when Bella, Edward’s female adviser, suddenly filled a glass to the brim and pushed it toward me. With a mocking smile, she said, “I didn’t risk everything to help a man become Don, only to end up as a mistress.” The entire room fell silent. Edward grabbed my hand and broke one of my fingers himself. “Losers have to pay up. Drink.” Then he looked at me calmly. “Actually, the marriage certificate I gave you was fake.” “I’ve been married to Bella for three years. She’s pregnant now, and I want to give her the title of Donna.” “You’ve

George finally stated, his smile taking on a slightly sinister tone. "I'll think about it and get back to you, sir," Mr. Edward replied, leaving the office feeling heavy-hearted and pondering how to approach his daughter about this contract. END OF FLASHBACK
