Oscar From On My Block Novels & Stories

I had experienced her and I knew she was a beast in a beast clothing. Yes, she didn't bother to wear camouflage, she was just as evil as she appeared. I made for my apartment and on my way, I found Oscar. He pulled off his mask when he got to me. "I'm sorry about the other day, I acted out of command." I glared at him, "Okay." I made to move when he blocked me, "Was that from your heart?" "Come on, Oscar, I'm aware you were made to do so."

“Unpleasant ones, Raven. You’ve been playing in someone else’s sandbox. Damien Blackwood’s little playground. Letting rich men drool over what belongs to me.” My jaw clenched. “It’s a cover Oscar, It gets me closer to a target.” “Closer to a target?” Oscar stopped in front of me, leaning in, his face inches from mine. His eyes locked on, unblinking, deadly. “Or closer to a cock? I saw the footage, pet. The way you drop to your knees. The way you control them. Very… professional. But you forgot who taught you control.” I pressed the gun to his throat, steady, not shaking.

Time was going so fast and soon, Oscar was called out to address the guests. His personal assistant and bodyguards wanted to help him but, he signaled them to give him space. “Good evening everybody. It is of a great privilege to have each and every one of you here to celebrate the final celebration of the Tribeca Film Festival with us. I'm sure most of you tagged along with your friends, and I hope you are enjoying it so far. Honestly, today won't have been this fun if not for you.
