Oscar From On My Block Novels & Stories

he said against the top of my head. I was able to speak throughout the day unless it was about certain topics that I seemed to have a block on in my brain. If Oscar touched on anything I didn't want to speak about, then I just didn't. When my parents came home later that day, I wasn't able to speak to them either. It seemed that I saved that privilege for Oscar alone and it was like that for a few days.

She walked out, leaving me alone as I poured a glass of whiskey for myself and downed it. “Wow, that was hard to watch.” I looked to my side to see Oscar standing by the door. “How long have you been there?” He shrugged. “I just got in, but, you know, having to stand outside and hear both of you talk… it was terrible. You were brought down by a low assistant. Oh, and let me guess. You really, really have things with assistants. Seeing as you call Bryan a glorified assistant.” I shook my head. “You’re on their side, aren’t you?”

Two months passed. Oscar, now completely isolating himself in David’s penthouse, spent his days sandwiched between running the rapidly growing company under his supervision and secret chemotherapy sessions for his worsening illness. He looked like a shadow of his former self, but he felt peaceful. Vengeance was fulfilled, and he awaited the day of his death calmly. That morning, as Oscar was sitting on the balcony, enjoying the sunrise and taking his medicine, the doorbell rang. It was Arthur Vance, who had just returned from the European operation.

But before he could lead me upstairs, Shane hurried to block our path. "Hey, let's not argue. I'll even feed you sweets myself," Shane offered his brother a weak smile, but Oscar declined with a shake of his head. Oscar's warm hand holding mine provided a comforting sensation, but the subtle twitching of his fingers betrayed his underlying anxiety. "It's okay. I think I've had enough sweets for today," Oscar addressed his mother, who stood still like a statue. He then gently pulled me along as we headed towards his bedroom, Shane unexpectedly trailing behind us.

“Yeah, just some legal stuff about my uncle’s estate. I didn’t want you thinking I’d disappeared again.” “I’m sorry you’re going through that alone.” I bit my lip. “When it’s over, how about I take you out for coffee? I still owe you one from the airport.” “But you paid for dinner!” “Next Monday, then?” “It’s a date,” she said. My heart raced. “Perfect. Cya Monday.” “Goodnight, Tobi.” Oscar's POV I leaned against the wall outside the apartment building, earbuds in, volume turned up. The bug I’d planted under his desk chair picked up every word.

Oscar grumbled and complained for a few more minutes before storming out of the office in frustration. Along the way, he clenched his fists, muttering to himself, "I snatched away your foolish girlfriend last time, jack*ss, and now I can snatch away your undeserved job too! You're just a stepping stone to my greatness! Mark my words! You want to challenge me so badly? I'll make you lie in a pool of your own blood, regretting your decision!" - On the second day of Oscar's tantrum, Logan arrived at the rector's office to introduce himself. Despite the rector's wealth of experience, he couldn't help but be momentarily stunned by Logan's appearance. Goodness, this man was like a handsome supermo

One day, while Amelia was considering asking Leona for help, she received a call from Oscar. "I'm sorry, Silly Billy. I've been filming in a remote location for a while. That place was too secluded, and the director didn't allow anyone to leave. That's why I couldn't make it back when Grandma passed away." Amelia laughed. "It's okay. It's better that you didn't come back. You might have bumped into her. Who knows, it might have caused a scene." Oscar fell silent for a moment. "I heard he went to see you and wanted to acknowledge you as his daughter."

Finally, after weeks of internal debates and a surge of courage, he resolved to become friends with her. Gathering his nerves, Oscar stood up and walked over to Aria's table. He cleared his throat and sparked a conversation, stumbling slightly over his words. Surprisingly, Aria responded warmly, a shy smile gracing her lips. As they started talking, Oscar discovered a gentle, kind-hearted soul beneath Aria's mesmerizing exterior.

Oscar declared. "You are the luckiest girl in the entire Academy right now, and yet it feels like you don't feel happy about it. Please, Megan, give yourself a break and stop being stubborn. He will never do something like this if he is not serious about you. Can you imagine he removed the bitch word just for you? I know you like Ashton too, but you are so worried about what will happen next, but stop worrying about it, because what is important now is you caught his attention, girl. And don't mind those freaking bitches because Ashton is the one who chases you, not the other way around." Oscar said, and since his speech was so long, I couldn't even remember a single word because Ashton's th

And that even made it worse. But I quickly shook it off, leaving the thought for another day. “I went to the hospital and learnt I was becoming an Omega. Someone had been drugging me.” And that did draw a reaction out of Liam, his back straightening, his fingers curling. “By whom?” I shook my head. “I still don’t know. That’s why I set cameras, but I found nothing.” Anger, panic – I waited for any kind of reaction from Liam. It didn’t come. Almost like everything I had told him, he was aware.
