But if it was possible… As the search results populated the screen, I clicked on the first article that caught my eye, hoping it would shed some light on my problem. Article 1: The Mythology of Werewolves 'Werewolves, also known as lycanthropes, are mythical creatures that appear in folklore and legends across various cultures. The transformation into a werewolf is typically associated with the full moon, although variations exist in different traditions. The exact methods of becoming a werewolf vary, but common themes include being bitten by an existing werewolf, a curse, or practising dark magic. The notion of werewolves congregating in packs is prevalent in many legends, often in remote o

Junior asked me curiously. I gazed at him knowing if I should tell the truth I would be in danger. He and everyone would think I'm a witch and I would be burned alive. Bazaar believes werewolves were caused by witches somehow awakening a very dark vicious animal spirit to take over man's soul that's why a werewolf is able to shift within a human form. He believes that the evil spirits had managed to create more creatures like him in populating the world just like us humans and other animals. "You should be happy I fought hard to escape because I could have died!" I shouted at him hiding the truth that it was the blood-eye wolf who had saved me.

She really started to wonder what kind of weird experiment this was going to be. Feline scraped her throat, “So I am guessing you are all wondering what this experiment is all about. For you to understand I have to tell you some history first. Thousands of years ago humans were not the only species that lived on earth. There were also werewolves, vampires, fae, and witches. These creatures believed themselves to be superior to the human race and wanted to enslave them. Humans learned of their plans and war broke out. Thanks to science the human race was able to survive while the other species went extinct.” Dante interrupted her, “Sorry but what is this? You want us to know the history of a

Leslie groaned awake as Tara and Zak dragged a table across the shattered window and braced it with chairs. “Tom? You can’t be out of bed,” Leslie said, pushing up on her elbows. “Jakey, what’s happening? What are those animals?” “Werewolves,” Jake said, eyes not leaving the hall. “They’re real.” Tara peeled a slat of the front blinds. “They’re everywhere,” she whispered. “Sniffing. Hunting.” Zak joined her, jaw tight. “Can we make the car?” She checked—froze. “They’re ripping the W.R.X. to pieces.”

This is the only time of the day when I can feel calm before I step out into the chaos that is my life. “So, what’s on the schedule today?” asks Zara in my head. Zara is my wolf spirit. Now before you go jumping to conclusions and calling me a ‘werewolf’, allow me to explain some things. By a human’s definition I am a werewolf, but please don’t ever call us that. We really hate it. What I, and the rest of my kind, are actually called is mutolupus, but we’re happy to just call ourselves wolves. It’s kind of shocking how much myths and stories got right about our kind, but there’s also plenty they get wrong.

You'll understand this more as you read the book! In addition, I only use the term 'werewolf' in this story but they are not the traditional lore that is 'cursed' or a 'beast'. They are more of shifters, like of lycans who can control their transformations from humans to wolves or vice versa. To put it simply, they are like the 'wolves' of Twilight with special gifts so I call them werewolves in this book. Thank you and enjoy reading!

"What are they?" I dragged my fingers through my hair and let out a breath of agitation. "They are Lycanthropes. Lycans, for short. An evolution of the werewolf. Now stop troubling me with mundane inquiries." "Mundane?" Hyperion’s voice rose with disbelief. "A new species is hardly mundane."

“You may have noticed the difference in the names our wolves go by. Our research has shown the older the male wolf, the more their name relates to nature. Rocky, Avalanche, Canyon, River. Old female wolf names are the same but floral related. Lavender, Lily, Poppy, Pansy. Those wolves were never meant to be warriors. They were guardians of nature, wild and unharnessed, with a few exceptions. Younger wolf spirits are guards and warriors. Their names lend to their positions. Saint, Ghost, Crusher, Slayer. Our female wolves have names like Justice, Mercy, Faith, Comfort.” “Wraith?” I steeple my fingers under my nose to see if he is familiar with the name. “Wraith?” He looks at me with a furrowe

world peace among the different supernatural races since our family reigns three of the most dominant ones-- the Werewolves, the Northern Witches, and the Vampires. I, Blair Claudette Kendall Cavanaugh-Sperova… oh, I know it's such a very long name, and I wouldn't give a fudge to write it all on a piece of paper. Then add up Winsley on my legal married name, and damn, this is already intense madness. However, I love it more than anything. But not as much as I love my Pryce.

She introduces him and I hear chairs scrape on the floor as they sit, and I hastily button my shirt. “Nice to meet you, and are you a…like Wills too?” He asks as I open the door, tucking my shirt into my pants and retaking my chair. “The term you are looking for is Wolfen or less popularly Werewolf. And yes, he is.” I say, retaking my seat. “So how many more of you are there?” Conall asks, leaning back to watching us closely with clear suspicion.
