Mastering Their Omega

Mastering Their Omega

I would usually have put some ice on it, so as not to scare Camila, but I know it was burning, because Oliver approached with some type of spray in his hand, behind my little bird's back, so she couldn’t see or know what Oliver was up to. I stepped back to let everyone, watching the game play, see my little masterpiece. I had drawn a snake that coiled up and up and the head was about to strike, looking towards the breast. The body features were a little thicker and some other details were smaller strokes. I hadn't spent that much time on details, but even so, no one could deny that I could draw. Oliver put his hands behind his back, hiding the spray while I took a small mirror and showed Cam

Lured Into the Trap

Lured Into the Trap

The man with the slanted eyes said, "Yes. She was a sudden acquisition, so you haven't seen her yet." The man walked toward me. He reached out to remove the burlap sack from my head. Just then, Charles spoke softly, "Go!" The second the burlap sack was removed from my head, I whipped out the dagger and kicked the man in his abdomen. Caught unaware, he stumbled a step backward. I held him in a chokehold and held the dagger against his cheek. The tip of the blade dug into his skin. A small trail of blood flowed down. Charles had also subdued the man with the slanted eyes as well.

The Lost Pack

The Lost Pack

“What about the traps?” Remy leans forward, sketching with his finger on the island's surface. “We’ll use gentle snares on the narrower trails, loops set low, not enough pressure to harm, just enough to trip or tangle. We can rig net-drops from the branches and maybe a few paint-burst markers, like hunter’s powder but harmless. We’ll lay false trails to throw them off.” Ronnie nods slowly. “Good. Harmless if triggered accidentally, easy to reset, and humane.” His gaze flicks to me. “And Paige?”

Loving this book so far! Author, as many have stated in the chapter comments, 291 & 292 are repeat chapters from 283 & 284. Though I do believe they should be at 291/292 (makes more sense) and not 283/284.

TRAP

TRAP

my mom called but we heard no response, hope this isn't something serious, like a murder where the police would come flooding this place. After turning round and round with my family, it finally dawn on me to check the trap we had set, so I told my family and we made our way to where it was located. In no time we got there, and just like I suspected, someone was caught in the net in an odd way, to say I was shocked was an understatement, I turned to look at my parents as they both had the same shocked expression on their faces. We made our way further towards the trap when we heard a voice, it was a female voice and

Journey Through the Shadow Realms

Journey Through the Shadow Realms

The outlaw chief chuckled and he placed both hands on his waist. An outlaw approached the leader and whispered to his ear. The leader nodded, his eyes not leaving Enzir. Then, the leader stood up straight and whistled to his men. He then made large circular motions in the air. The men moved quickly upon hearing their leader’s whistle and seeing his hand signals. They picked up anything on the ground that could betray their presence and threw them inside the trapdoors. Then they swept the leaves and made sure that the trapdoors were completely covered. After a short time, the men already gathered their things and then walked quietly around the large tree that was blocking the way, disappearin
