Raina~ I tapped my fingers on the table and put my head on it. I can not leave a single moment without my shit. We were behaving so normal moments ago and now I have annoyed my dad and sister so much that they went out to get rid of me. I slapped my forehead again, for overthinking. Why do I overthink? Even after knowing that it is super unhealthy for me. I know my sister and my dad would never think like this for me. There must be something they wanted to talk about in private. But what is taking them so long? It's been already fifteen minutes now.

My acrylic nail taps restlessly against my thumb while frustration coils tighter in my chest. "I know I probably overdo it sometimes. I just..." I exhale hard, shaking my head. "Once I start overthinking, it's like my brain won't let shit go. One bad thought turns into twenty more, and suddenly I'm acting insane over stuff that might not even be true." The confession lingers awkwardly between us. God. I hate sounding vulnerable. Makes my skin itch. Makes me wanna immediately say something funny or shake my ass on a countertop to restore balance to the universe.

If I took a shower, I wasn’t sure I would be able to keep my mind off those messages. Overthinking wasn’t what I needed. I needed a clear solution to my problem, and I could not think of a clear solution if my head was still cloudy with worry and anxiety. ‘Should I take a walk in the garden? No, I would still have the opportunity to overthink. Or maybe I should go around the house and draw a map. My mind would be too occupied by the twists and turns of this building, and I would finally have a guide to make sure I don’t get lost. It’s a perfect solution to both of my problems.’
