Everyone seemed dressed to the nines like Klein was, a glass of wine in their hands. “Ladies and gentlemen,” Klein announced. “Our newest member, Chloe Whitman.” Everyone raised their glass up, and Klein slipped one into my hands. “The book of the evening is this,” he said, tapping a book next to me. “Just relax.” I sat down and opened the book, a shocked gasp escaping my lips.
