Catching sight of the photo again on his bedside table, he unbuckled his belt and quickly removed his pants. “Ah, Lilliane,” he moaned her name as he touched his stiffened manhood, still covered by his briefs. He sat on the edge of the bed, picked up Lilliane’s photo, and removed his remaining garment. His large, thick member, now fully erect, was freed. When he pricked his finger and let a drop of blood fall onto the corner of a page, the book trembled. It closed, then opened. Pages flipped rapidly as if wind coursed through them, though the night was still. Symbols flared to life, one after the other. It finally stopped on a page with an image on it. The drawings were moving. It was a path winding through mist, a stone gate, and a key hovering in darkness. Luca’s breath caught. He stared at the image until the book stilled. Then he closed it quietly, wiping his finger and glancing over his shoulder.

If I stayed awake I wouldn't be able to have my nightmares, so that was my goal for the next couple hours. The large library looked appealing, I slowly got out of bed, and grabbed the first book sticking out. I opened the cover and there it said to my dear son, may your imagination take you anywhere you please. I looked at the cover again and saw Pete Grant, on the front cover. I grabbed the next couple of books and they were all by him too. I took them to the window sill, and sat along the cold window watching the rain pour, as the moonlight guided me along each letter on the page.
