Samantha's POV The trophy was heavier than she expected. Samantha had held trophies before. Smaller ones, regional ones, the kind that lived on shelves in childhood bedrooms and collected dust with quiet dignity. This one was different. Cold metal and real weight and the Grand Prix insignia cut clean into the base. She held it with both hands and looked at it and tried to feel the size of what it meant. She was still working on that when she heard the sound beside her.

he said, grabbing my arm. We walked over to the display case. "Look, you see the best silver and golden trophy?" I nodded. "I won that for our football team. You have to win the silver before you go to the Football National Finale. And I also won the golden one. We won last years' finale. And I am going for football again." he said, looking at the trophy, grinning. I looked at him. "How do you play football?" I asked. He looked at me, "Do you want me to teach you?"

"Gotta get back to someone special." Matt just stood there for a long moment, holding the trophy, awed by the history of it and the fact that this year he had been part of the winning team. For a moment the turn his life had taken and the personal wreckage he'd left behind in his climb to the top faded away.

And when he does, he quickly snatches his trophy from the girl and comes walking towards us, strangely his expression still nervous. " Congrats Dude ! ", Ethan squeals and hugs him first, patting on his back. Gavin can't hug him back cause he is holding his juice box and trophy in his both hands. I reach to grab the trophy. It's a small beautiful golden statue of a basketballer tossing a ball. But Gavin doesn't give me. He has an iron grip on it. " Congrats ! You played so well t..today.", I say and smile at him as he pulls away from Ethan. He smiles back at me and opens his arms. I quickly hug his sweaty body and pulls away laughing as he mutters a quiet 'Thanks dude'.

The announcer waited patiently until the applause died down to announce second place. "In second place, with a time of forty-two hours, thirteen minutes, and forty-seven seconds is: The Gauntlet!" Polite applause sounded as Thomas Grant and the pretty Sarah Parish stepped up on the stage to accept their silver trophy. The lack of enthusiasm from the audience told me that most of the guests felt the same way as I did about Grant. Sarah smiled at everyone in the room, but Grant looked as though he smelled something unpleasant as he took the second place trophy and then stomped off the stage.

She gave a light snort and said, "Sure, I've never seen a real trophy. Alex, you've seen plenty; why don't you try making one yourself?" Alex chuckled but didn't respond. Rebecca understood his unspoken thoughts and decided not to press further. Instead, she guided him to wash their hands and pay before moving on to the next shop. Molding a trophy held little significance; the true value lay in holding a genuine championship trophy. There was only one genuine championship trophy, and it seemed there would always be just one. While people speculated about who might claim the trophy tomorrow or next year, the essence lay in who secured the championship at that very moment.

Levi continued to explain, my heart pounding in my chest when I thought about that money. I could do a lot with that money. Mica stepped around the corner with a large trophy and a grin on his face. “Congrats Miss Montague,” Alpha Mica said thoughtfully as he handed me the heavy trophy. Nan and Irene had to help me hold it. “Thank you,” I said with a proud smile. “It’s surreal; I still can’t believe I won.” “Believe it,” Nan said, patting me on the shoulder. “You did incredible.”

“You have very good thinking skills! Come and receive the award that I’m presenting to you personally.” A trophy appeared in Paxton’s hands without Zayn’s notice. The trophy looked amazing with intricately-carved patterns. Moreover, there was an ineffable charm to the trophy. Zayn could tell at one glance that it was made by a skilled professional and that it cost a fortune to make. Paxton cast a look at Zayn before he threw the award strenuously into the air.

He added his pin. One by one, the others followed. Finch’s grin, Mark’s steady hand. By the end I had twelve shining pins across my chest. Mark pressed the trophy into my hands. My arms trembled at its weight. “You guys…” My voice came out tiny. “You worked hard for this. I don’t deserve—” Ronan cut me off with a smile. “You lifted our morale. These pins are yours. The trophy too. Please keep being our spirit.” The stadium erupted. Clapping, whistles, shouts. Heat spread across my cheeks as I clutched the cup, overwhelmed. No one had ever honored me like this.
