I said, grabbing his arm which held the spatula firmly, still smiling.
“You’ve even got a smudge on your face” I added, looking at the side of his cheek, having a white substance, flour.
“At this time, you’re trying to make pancakes” I said, smiling at him, making sure Festus had been watching, he stood, frozen as though he had never seen a couple in public.
“Oh..” Julian gasped, trying to clean it off with his left hand, making it worse.
“You’re adding to it” I said, laughing once more, wiping the smudge with my bare hands, I had never his face so upclose, his light green eyes not losing its color in the dimly lit hallway, strands of his hair on the side of his face.
