Especially because he seems so damn calm about this horrible thing on his chest. “What the hell is this?” “No one asked you to look,” he snaps, but he makes no motion to conceal the scar anymore. He just lets his shirt hang open, chest exposed. “But that scar –” “It will heal eventually,” he says, like it’s that damn simple. Like when it’s gone, it will be like none of this happened.

He shifted on the bed and began to unbutton my pajama top, placing a sensual kiss on my skin with each one he undid. Just as he reached the final button, I took a deep breath and held it. My body was riddled with scars from the accident and multiple surgeries. I'd had more stitches and staples than any one person should, and those battle wounds had left marks that appeared angry and painful. They were far from beautiful, and my body was nowhere near perfect.

I forgot. Miss, whoever she is, looked at me shockingly but there's a hint of familiarity and sadness in her eyes. As I stared at her, I realized she really looked so weird and no offense, ugly. There's a huge birthmark that covered her left forehead, down to her eye and her ear. There's also a huge mole on the lower right side of her mouth. To top everything off, she has a lot of pimples, acne scars and blackheads. This girl needs help.

I told her. “I’m fine. It’s fine. I just don’t like it when you bug me about the whole dress thing. I know that the doctor said the scars will disappear but will it really? These things never truly disappear. I just am trying to get accustomed to the fact that my body is likely going to be like this forever. I’m permanently scarred Femi.” She said painfully. I could feel and see the pain through her voice.

He gently pulled my hand away, revealing my scar to him. “Don’t hide yourself from me.” “I wasn’t sure if you’d be turned off by the sight of my scar, it looks disgusting, Alder .” My mate laughed, a rough sound deep in his throat. He removed his mask down and the huge scar frightened her. The scar moved from his forehead down to his chin. Half of his face carrannoying the ugly scar. She watched as he frowned at the button , his chiseled face was like a sculpture, he had thick and roughly carved brows she felt like running her hands on them. He had a well carved beards which had evidence of not been shaved for a while, they where prickly but also tickled wherever his face brushed her arm. The lock of hair that had been on his forehead head was now brushing his eyes, Ann had the strongest urge to brush it from his eyes and indeed they did feel marvelously silky. Oh on! She had touched it, and now he was looking at her. But this time not only did he look frustrated, there was something else, it wasn't there before and it reminded her of the day at the library.
