With a twisted screech Percy’s torn form instantly reanimated each half rising as separate entities, both burning with the same dark aura. Asher immediately blocked Percy’s attack with one of his hands. During his struggle with the swirling darkness, Ronan’s eyes snapped to Asher, who was now fighting two Percys. Using his curse energy, Asher distracted one of the Percys and launched a brutal attack on the other, tearing open his head from the torso. However, the moment Percy dropped dead, another Percy arose from the fallen one. Now Asher had to fight three Percys.

She caught her arm in a split second. “Let me go you sick animal!” Bella yelled struggling in her hold. “Get ready to meet your friends in hell! Oh… I forgot you don’t even have any friends!” Annabeth retorted as she pulled Bella back to her position. Arnold let out a low whistle and I looked to find he had positioned himself a few meters behind Annabeth. She had been so concentrated on her little speech she forgot to weigh the ground. She didn’t know Arnold was behind her. Good job Arnold!

"I heard you, and let me tell you, I don't give a damn," she hissed, her eyes piercing through me. "What? How can you not care? You're a girl too, just like me," I persisted, trying to reason with her. "Huh! We're not the same. You're from the group that remained strong while everyone else suffered during those chaotic times. You've got some nerve calling me out for not wanting to help you," she retorted angrily, tossing the pen in my direction. Percy swiftly intervened, catching it before it could hit me.

She sharply shut me off, not tearing her gaze from Arya. “Oh, finally, you have chosen to pay attention to me, how wonderful. I guess pulling her away from your sight could finally spark some attention from my own mother.” “You always think everything is about you, Arya. How often do I need to keep pointing out that the world and realm need us? You act this way each time I offer my time and energy to each and every one who steps into this camp looking for sanctuary. What is your problem?” Annabeth asked, grabbing her daughter's arm. Arya struggled to snatch her hand from her mother's, but it seemed like her efforts were drowning in vain.
