"Master, I’m just a bit tired. I want to take a break for a while." Bernard narrowed his eyes and suddenly lifted the hem of my shirt, revealing a daisy tattoo on my waist. Upon closer inspection, he realized the tattoo was meant to cover a long scar that resembled a centipede. "Girl, what on earth happened to you?!"

I had a folder with all the entries for the tattoo ideas in it. "My favorites are these three." I mind-linked. She took out the top three and looked at them. The first one was a crescent moon with a swirling cloud thing behind it. The description was that we were called shadow pack, so it would make sense that we had a shadow of the moon to represent us. She then looked at the next one. It was two hands that looked to be made from shadows reaching for one another. Then she came to the last one.

She was very touched. She gave him a quick peck on the lips when no one was looking, took her pen, and drew on his hands. He let her do whatever she wanted as he watched her with a barely visible soft smile on his face. When she finished drawing, he looked at his hand to see a drawing similar to the tattoo she had on her shoulders. “Why did you draw your tattoo?” William asked her curiously. “Because her tattoos are the perfect representation of her, or at least what she wants to be,” Tessa replied on Rosaline’s behalf.

I said as he nodded. He disappeared into the back leaving me and Seth out together, Seth went round the shop checking out the drawings and designs of different tattoo, the man came back out later with different designs for me to choose from which I had a hard time choosing, I didn't like anyone. "What about this one? " he pushed forward another one and again a bluntly refused it, I started checking the remaining designs until Seth came with a design and handed it over to the man. "This one at her nape.." The man wore a bewildered look. "She can't do this one." the man argued while I snatched it away from him, it was a rose interpreting a clock.

The Scar had gone quiet. Not the kind of silence that brought peace. The kind before an earthquake. Before an unraveling. Only Serena remained awake, crouched before the child's latest drawing pressed into the sand—an unbroken circle, no door, no path out. No exit. She traced the shape with the tip of her finger. It’s weird to think there was a happy time. “What else is in the box?” I asked, moving the album aside, not nearly finished looking through it but knowing if I don’t stop, I never will. “Let’s see.” Persephone dug back into the box. With a grunt, she took out an older leather-bound book that didn’t just have the Silvercloud owl, but the same markings mom and I have when using our shaman power etched into the binding. As I reached for the book, the markings, and owl started to glow, and it floated out of Persephone’s hands and into mine.

The door was huge and had a dragon drawn on it, the dragon was exactly the same as the dragon tattoo on Lisa’s neck, it is the Pericolosa symbol, all leaders of the Pericolosa had the same tattoo drawn on their body when they become leader.
