Peter’s face lit up like a christmas tree when he saw the boys and moved his feet towards the boys and embraced them both in his arms warmly. After the introductions the twins were talking with Peter about their interest in pottery, wood carpentry and carvings. They had a good time getting to know each other. Effie made sure all of them were fed. When the twins came for their visit it was early in the evening. She had already served them tea and coffee as per their liking. They did not notice the time had quickly passed. They were all so immersed in knowing each other and talking about stuff they all had in common.

“You think she has moved on with him?” Adrian’s eyes darkened. “That is not even the worst part.” He paused, his throat tightening. “She has children, Peter.” Peter’s mouth fell open. “Children?” Adrian nodded, his voice a broken whisper. “Twin children. Even tho things started off on a rough foot, it is going quite smoothly now. He and Isabella of course could always have little argument about this and that but could always settle shortly after.
