Picture Perfect 2 Novels & Stories

Perez said when he was done taking pictures. I took the phone from him and went through the pictures he took. They were good ones. Really good ones. “Wow! I still look hot even while playing dead,” I complimented, admiring the pictures. “Can I see?” Ava asked, and I handed her the phone. “What do you think? Do you still think she wouldn't fall for it?” Ava stared at the picture and then at me. Her doubts seemed to have cleared. It was now time for phase two. I grinned, confident in my plan.

I was lost in the trance of looking at her, her near round face, perfect eyebrows, perfect. Aminah shrieked and she practically flew out of her chair. This babe ehn. She gets wahala, no doubt. They resumed looking at the pictures, Aminah's voice in awe as if the girls in the pictures weren't humans like the rest of us. She'd be surprised to see that their lives ain't all rainbows and sunshine like the pictures on I*******m portray.

After catching my supposedly frigid wife, Emmy Winslow, aroused by our household robot butler, I swallowed my disgust and sent the machine to a destruction facility. I never expected that decision to cost her life. On the way to chase after the robot, Emmy was involved in a horrific car accident and died at the scene. From that day on, I became notorious in our social circle as the jealous husband who drove his wife to her death. Five years passed. Night after night, I tortured myself by wondering if she would still be alive had I not been so petty over a machine. Until today, while discussing business at a private club, I passed a half-open VIP suite and heard one of Emmy's closest frie

When I think back to it, the words I said back then just make the sting of being wrong even sharper today. I pulled up to Thomas's big house pretty quickly, and the butler and a bunch of servants were already waiting by the door. They looked really surprised when I got out of the car. "Ms. Canfield, we're here to carry your bags. Where are they?" they asked. I just said, "They're all gone. Burned to crisp." Then I looked straight into Thomas's deep, dark eyes. He smirked a little and said with an icy laugh, "You were so sure Eric would never do anything wrong. What do you have to say now?"

"I was waiting for you." Lena's heart never skipped a beat. "Good." Mercer set his glass down. "You made a mess, you know. Kane was convenient." Lena shook her head. "Not now." He grinned. "No. But neither are you." The door at her back creaked and clicked. Closed. Locked. Lena’s fingers twitched toward her knife. “Is that supposed to scare me?” Mercer leaned forward. “No, darling. This is.” A photo slid across the table.

ZAYN “Yo man! Shit was dope out there. Dude was real fucking pissed. See his face? Bet he'd need stitches for that split,” Rowan came into the dressing room after me, laughing as he patted my shoulder. I flexed my neck, feeling a slight crack. I grabbed a bottle of water from the table, gulping its contents in a go. “Heard he wants to double up for a rematch. Five thousand bucks on the line man. That's crazy,” he said, amused at the fact that I just won the match and that made him twenty-five hundred dollars richer.

Sent Tuesday at eleven pm. She’d missed them in the week’s notifications. She read them now. All three near Meridian. All three with two separate workspaces. All three with kitchen windows. She looked at him. “Kitchen windows,” she said. “Specific requirement,” he said. She held her phone. “Which one do you like?” she said. He looked at the listings over her shoulder. “The second one,” he said. “The layout gives you more wall space for shelves.” She looked at the second listing.

Levi chips in for me. “Fine, it is on the first floor. By the way you shouldn't hide your pretty face”. Micah says smiling and that is when I look up to study his features. He is a pretty boy with a tanned skin and fading acne scars on his face. His black hair has red streaks, whoever his hairstylist is definitely knows how to do his job. “Take a picture, it lasts longer”. One of the boys snicker. Slightly irritated with that particular line I turn to him rolling my eyes.
