I am part of the market research team, and that requires me to be on the streets instead of in-office, but with my team being useless, I do most of the work because if the team doesn't deliver results, I am stuck with the elephant that will likely cost me, my job. Lucifer's tech is the best engineering company there is. Their smartphones are ten times better than Android and iPhones. Longer battery life and a network that won't drop you in your time of need but the worst part about them are that they freaking expensive. Like wireless earphones and smartwatches, they most likely to cost half my paycheck.

He leaned in so their faces were inches apart. He ran his thumb across her pale tear stained face and flicked the tears underneath her eyes. Iris pulled back her eyes now confused and red rimmed. "These tears of vengeance, are on shed for the wrong person." "You're lying." She screamed back thrashing harder than before. "Let me show you." He blinked unfazed by her tantrums. He stood up from the bed and picked up the laptop on the bedside table. Iris went quiet. He flipped it open, waited for it to boot, then played a video.

I pointed out. " You know what, you are keeping him for yourself. I know you guys have a contract deal but you have to make him yours because he is so damn perfect besides that mysterious lady has done way too much for a man that isn't even aware of her existence and she doesn't deserve him. Pierce is sweet and nice and he doesn't deserve that crazy lady." Lucy stated and I feel the exact way. Pierce is way too perfect to be with a crazy lady like that but then there is nothing I can do about it other than to protect myself from her.

Ciel growled out. Lucifer nodded. “Take off your shirt and lie down.” Ciel wasted no time in removing his shirt and laying on the table next to Daria. Lucifer walked over to Daria, and picked up a dagger. He gave her a sad look before he and cut into her chest. Her blood weakly spilled out of her wound, and sorrow filled Lucifer. Taking a deep breath. Lucifer reached inside Daria's chest and pull out her heart.

I’m wondering if he is even werewolf. “No, she is not nearby.” “Then how did you get here so quickly?” “I have my ways. Who is this?” His eyes look to me, my eyes becoming strangely hypnotised by his stare. “This is Pierce, Alpha of the Grey Howl pack. This is Libby’s mate.” For a kid he’s arrogant. His eyes trail over me as if measuring me up, before landing on the baby safely asleep in my arms. “And who is this?” Any malicious intent towards me changes as soon as he sees the peacefully sleeping Angel.

When he straightened his head, his gaze automatically landed on Pierce, who was standing beside me like a statue. “I knew I recognized you.” He drawled, pointing a finger at Pierce. “You’re the one that used to cry when thunderstorms hit!” He clapped his hand as if he had deciphered the greatest mystery of all time. “Look at you now, you’re so huge bet you could take down ten men at the same time.” Pierce’s jaw tightened. “Sir,” he whispered. I raised my hand to stop him. We both watched as Lucien laughed and slapped his knee.

I said, as I tried to look around but I could not see anything. He is clearly torturing me with these lights. “I don’t know anyone by the name Lucien and I think that you have gotten the wrong person.” I spoke. “Haha little girl, do you think everyone is as stupid as Lenox? You are quite interesting, and I am starting to like you!” the man spoke. His creepy laugh sent chills down my spinal column and I felt goosebumps all over my body. “I know that you personally went to city Y to save Lucien and you are the reason he came back alive, my plan was wasted because of you.”

Chapter 2 Lucy couldn't sleep because of the noise from Phoenix's room. He could hear the noise of their classmate muttering and moaning as they reached the oragasm. He slapped the headset on his ears, facing the mirror to tie his long hair. He winced in pain when he saw his left hand with a wound. "The blade of her tooth." He complained and he bathed his hand with alcohol. The whole day ended with nothing for him. His name is Lucifer Cuenca, but the school owner who is a friend of his father calls him Lucy.
