Inside her mind, defending against zombies is just a second priority. The most priority is her family. So, she turned around to look for more can goods but the moment she step, her footstep landed on the liquid oil. Her footing is out of balance and her butt bumped on the ground. The Zombie King

The Zombie King

Either way, I fell hard for him, even if he scared me. When I was sixteen, everything changed. The entire world changed because we realized we weren’t alone. I’m not talking about aliens. Nope, crazy as it sounds, I’m talking about Zombies. Not the slow, dumb kind. It turns out zombies are fast, strong, intelligent, and vicious. Not only do they eat brains, but they will eat human flesh if brains are available. We didn’t get zombies from a virus, a vaccine, or any of the normal things in the books, movies, or TV shows. It turns out zombies come from a mutated human gene that activates after death. This mutated gene is inherited by one's father if he carries the mutation.

Demon's Evolution

Demon's Evolution

The sound of charging zombies smashed into everyone's eardrums, causing them to shiver in fear. "We're going to die. We're going to die!" A student yelled as he attempted to flee his position. "You'll die if you run, but I won't stop you." The sound of a frigid voice resonated in the air. Rose assumed command. "Because zombies lack a brain and an eye, they can only detect movement and the smell of blood. The more you move, the more they will pursue you." Hearing that the student who attempted to flee bowed his head in shame.

Genetically Modified

Genetically Modified

Hollywood is the only zombie reference I have and according to them the zombies should devour us. He shrugs. "They don't need sustenance to survive. It's the best we can come up with. They don't get skinny or fat and they don't digest food or expel body waste. Their brains have some activity, more of a misfire than an actual current, but for all intents and purposes, they're dead." "How did you check their brain activity?" I ask. The darn hounds turn to dust once they die so he must do it while they live.

Rewrite the Apocalypse Dream

Rewrite the Apocalypse Dream

Briggs grunted as his boots hit the road. He flexed his newly upgraded level-two muscles, a sudden orange glow illuminating the dark fabric of his uniform. With a low grunt, he slammed his palms together, channeling his newly enhanced element. A concentrated jet of bright, high-temperature flame erupted from his hands, instantly melting the ice on the road and engulfing a cluster of rushing zombies. The infected collapsed into ash before they could even reach the vehicle. Beside him, Jolie’s vines whipped out of her sleeves like green lightning, piercing through the foreheads of three zombies simultaneously and tossing their bodies into the snow.

8-23-25 at 167 chapters. I normally don’t like reading in progress books but this one is super good. Keeps you engaged with dialogue, representing multiple characters, and doesn’t over describe scenes. Well written. Looking forward to consistent updates and following Joanna’s story with her team!

didn't think I'd be this interested in a book about the apocalypse but it sucked me right in! (little mistakes here and there, plus the random chapter 217). Overall the story was engaging and hard to put down.

Offered to the Triplet Alphas

Offered to the Triplet Alphas

Her hiccups had turned into a cat’s cries. Plants could be a step in helping her when her powers when they go out of control, but not all plants. There has to be a specific plant that could help her. A plant that can grow just as viciously as her powers. But why do I feel as though this is more of a psychological problem than a physical one? “Zosha… it's me… the mortal you met earlier…” I said in a calm tone. There was another hiccup, and electricity spread across the plantations, with Zosha being the focal point. Every living cell in the impact area grew twice their original size.

Updates are really slow. I couldn’t remember story line completely and had to go back and read several chapters to get back up to speed. Please update regularly. It’s a really good story and losing the audience due to delayed updates is a shame.

Like other comments, loved the storyline and characters BUT updates are extremely slow. So slow that I had to go back and reread the last couple of chapters before reading new material. Won’t continue story if next update takes so long.

The Cruel Alpha's Unwanted Bride

The Cruel Alpha's Unwanted Bride

As the centrifuge began to spin, separating the blood into its various components, I turned to my laptop and started researching potential plant-based compounds that could act as neuroprotective agents. From my initial studies, I knew that several plants had properties that could potentially counteract the brain rot. The challenge would be to find the right combination of these compounds and figure out how to synthesize them into a treatment. I started by listing plants known for their neuroprotective qualities: Ginkgo biloba, with its potent antioxidants that could potentially protect neural cells; Bacopa monnieri, often used in traditional medicine for its memory-enhancing effects; and Rho

The man is so cruel and mean. I really don't understand Avery. She seems like an intelligent person but she is a pushover unfortunately. I'll keep reading though, hoping she becomes fierce and kicks his ass.

Here to correct a review I mistakenly left for a different book with a similar premise. As far as THIS novel, the author really does a great job writing in a way that makes you feel like you're there. The FL is pathetic at times, but likeable as hell. The ML though? Pathetic is an understatement lol

Princess Cromwell and Her Six Brothers

Princess Cromwell and Her Six Brothers

Amelia looked at him, concern evident in her voice. Elijah wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and forced a smile. "Boss, I can hang on. It's just that these two guys are too troublesome." "I know." Amelia nodded lightly. "The core runes of these two zombies should be in their heads. If you shatter their skulls, you might be able to deal with them completely." Elijah nodded slightly. "Their heads... I understand, Boss!" "Since ordinary attacks are useless, I'll smash your brains apart!" Elijah's figure flickered as he charged toward the zombie on the left like a teleport.

Campus of the undead

Campus of the undead

Bayo hissed through gritted teeth. The connection was undeniable now. The zombies were not mindless; they were driven by instinct amplified by Akin’s will. Bayo felt the resonance between them, a link forged not by choice but by circumstance. His body tensed as he realized that same force pulling them toward destruction was brushing against his own consciousness. --- As Bayo focused on the connection, the hunger became more vivid. It wasn’t just a primal need—it was an all-consuming void that could never be filled. The zombies wanted to devour, to tear apart everything in their path, and they wouldn’t stop until nothing remained.

Fake London bridge is falling down

Fake London bridge is falling down

He was just the zombie. He showed her what seemed like black and white photographs (autopsies) of Adulf Cains brain. There was a living parasite in the both kids brain. Ursa's was far worse. On rare occasions, these parasites ate up its hosts, as in the case of Ursa. Taking suicide pills was out of the question. This doctor, which shall remain nameless had wanted ursa and Adulf for personal research irregardless of parental/ governmental notice. But the death of the host isn't this parasites goal, they're able to hack and influence Adulf's behavior in very specific ways --blood, roach suggested, someone's blood. Ursa, he--they both could not bring themselfs to do it, to kill someone else in
