THE SILENT LUNA

THE SILENT LUNA

She stayed a long time. The lamp burning on the wall. The territory around her. Silent in the deep cold. Lit from within. All the windows. All the people. All the work. The record growing. The formation traveling. The roots deepening. The water still. Rising still. Always. Through the cold. Through the dark. Through the deepest winter. Still rising. Because living things rose. Because the roots were real. Because the work was right. Because the people were here. Because the room was here.

The Secretly Rich Man

The Secretly Rich Man

“The green hills enter the deserted ancient cities, A bending willow was revived and rejuvenated, Strategists were met with repeated failure and success, The people were all struggling to make a living.” After hearing Zenny recite the poem, Gerald mumbled to himself as he thought about its deeper meaning. As someone who was from the Department of Language and Literature back when he was in university, the poem wasn’t that difficult for him to decipher. A short while later, Gerald was able to formulate an answer in his mind.

It's a good book as far as I have read so far. I'm getting discouraged, though. I'm running out of patience and time for these types of stories. "Neverending" stories where some chapters repeat themselves for some reason or other drives me bunkers. Just saying. I prefer shorter stories.

Mated to Another

Mated to Another

he whispered, his words carrying a weight of revelation. Curiosity danced in my eyes as I listened intently, his warm hands enveloping mine in a protective and reassuring hold. He leaned closer, his voice a tender caress against the morning breeze. "We often miss out on the true essence of life by constantly looking around us, below us. We fail to look up, to raise our gaze to the boundless sky. And in doing so, we deny ourselves the opportunity to discover the extraordinary." His words resonated deep within me, echoing through the chambers of my heart.

The Troll Queen's Bride

The Troll Queen's Bride

But I became the bank of winter she drowned in, you see. And I would never steal feathers or clip the wings off a bird. We let our greatest potential go, and in that, grow. Love is not the answer. The answer is a frozen rose. Hope is not my delight. No, it is sacrifice. And as the crane flies free, I am left flying kites, looking up at the clouds, and dreaming of redemption found at bitter beak and angel lips, and a thousand other impossible things. Lost City at Sea

Lost City at Sea

The melody was full of hope and inspiration, and the rhythm fit in surprisingly well with the words of the poem. “In the stillness of the night, In the distance, there’s a light. The horizon’s brightly shining Its luminous glow blinding Why's the sun shining so bright? Because it is with all its might, Trying to conceal Del Cealus from us, But I’ll soon be there to set the people free As long as the sunlight never dims. I will now sail through the sky; Soon Del Cealus shall be found And be brought down from up high I’m taking along with me

My Ex, the Widowed Billionaire

My Ex, the Widowed Billionaire

Only texture. Ridges of grief. Valleys of laughter. Softness of almost-love. I held it to my lips and felt the warmth of memory that never hurt. Only healed. This morning, the Garden shimmered again. Not with newness. With depth. Everything here is deepening. Not toward end. Toward becoming. I walked to the place where Solen painted her door. It is gone now. In its place: a mirror. But not one that reflects. One that reveals.

Tuberose

Tuberose

The night sky stretches above, clear and star-studded, a canvas of serenity that contrasts with the chaos within me. I've always found comfort in writing, and tonight is no different. The words flow from my fingertips onto the screen, a form of therapy that helps me process the storm of emotions raging inside me. As I jot down a few lines about my situation, the poem takes shape, capturing the essence of my pain and confusion. It's a bittersweet creation, a reflection of the tangled web of emotions I find myself trapped in.

Nice story so far. Keep it up author but I think author should improve in her tenses and grammar. The story is nice one, I like the way she gave glimpses of what would happen in the story in the future. Nice book and story line author, keep it up. But Michael seemed pompous for my liking.

The story is great, the way you portrayed how your closed one (best friend ) can turn into a foe with time, how in one second everything changes and it hurts when you know you are right but no one trusts you. Well done btw, good luck

Be Mine

* I saw the beauty of the sky Colors so vibrant you'd think they never die * I saw the beauty of the waves Every splash telling a story of younger days * I saw the beauty of the rains Every drop falling freely like horses without reins * I saw the beauty of the night For only then were the stars alight * I saw the beauty in the flames of a fire Each one burning with a different desire * I saw the beauty of Gold Glistening with bitter stories untold * Oh I saw the beauty of dust and clay Simple reminders of our end someday.

Iris & The Book

Iris & The Book

The tiniest of details were added in a way that made it even more enchanting to look at. Some of the poems were funny, some beautiful and some serious with positive messages others I could tell had hidden meanings as do all poems- but these were written in a clever way. I decided to flick through page by page first looking at the pictures, as got around ¾ the way through I flicked on to a page them seemed strangely familiar.
