The Devil's Game

The Devil's Game

Inside, the space was decorated in dark wood and gold, the air rich with the scent of roasted coffee and delicate pastries. Wealth draped every inch of the place, from the velvet chairs to the soft murmur of voices that barely rose above the music playing in the background. She had no real business being here—not in the way that mattered. Lucian had abandoned her to a cold, empty house, given her nothing but silence, and now, she would return the favor in her own way. If he would not play the role of a husband, she would not play the role of an obedient little wife. She still remembered his stint in a love hotel. Oh, she remembered.

A Bargain With The Devil

A Bargain With The Devil

A rich baritone sound that warmed me in the inside. “Is my apology being accepted well.” “You haven’t actually apologized.” “I’m sorry if it came off as…” “…an asshole to you.” I finished for him. His eyes darkened, “Yeah.” “What was your impression of me when we first met.” I asked, I knew he thought i was a prostitute and I thought it was about time to clear that rumor. He thought for a while. “Do you really want to know. “ “Yes.” “Well, I was drunk out of my mind. Out with Cartwright, and then I saw you, just sitting in the lounge. I thought you were beautiful, a lot of the women there, were beautiful, You were the only one I saw sitting alone.”

The Devil’s Temptation

The Devil’s Temptation

" I replied shyly and gazed at their faces one by one. "Awww, he's so adorable for his age, look at those pouty lips, don't be shy around us, come give big bro a hug." [BANG!] "You there! Stop chattering and pay attention!" Miss Dorothy crumpled a piece of paper and threw it at Casper, there shouldn't have been a problem and the disaster could have been avoided, only that Casper caught the paper out of reflex and threw it back to her. "He's dead," I heard someone say behind us, and the look on Miss Dorothy's face couldn't be shaped out,

The Lycan's Fated Hybrid Mate

The Lycan's Fated Hybrid Mate

I muttered and blinked once. His voice softened. “You belong where you choose to be. And you chose this town.” Not by choice, I thought. But I didn’t say it aloud. Guess I had quite a handful of good people around me after all. “Well, you're right. You do make mean whiskeys.” he said with a grin. “But mostly because this bar is the crossroads of every shady deal and whispered secret in town. People talk when they drink. And they drink here. This has to be the most popular bar around here. And it welcomes everyone. Most bars would only welcome creatures of it's kind. But Devon? An Other who needs money no matter where or from whom it comes from?” He shook his head like he couldn't understand.

The devil you know

The devil you know

But she didn’t have any reserves left, she just had to make do with adrenaline. After a long ride, most of which Emma couldn’t see, as she didn’t dare to lift her eyes from her lap, they stopped and Walker got out. Emma followed and found herself in front of a brownstone. It looked respectable, and Emma wondered who they were visiting. As they entered, she got a shock. The brownstone was not a single unit like she had thought from the outside. All the apartments had been combined and walls had been knocked down to create an open floor plan on the lower level. There was a bar at the back, gambling tables in another direction. Table, chairs, sofas and armchair stood scattered throughout the ro

AWESOME! This is one of the very best mafia love stories that I have read on this site. Great storyline, strong characters, interesting, not drawn out, fantastic ending and written well. I am adding you to my favorite author list. Will be reading more of your completed works. Great job author!

Read in 1 day because I couldn't put it down. Great storyline and characters. Like most books on this platform some grammar and other things are incorrect. However, most can be easily overlooked due to how much you get drawn into the story by the main character.

OH BABY; BE MINE

OH BABY; BE MINE

She had to admit it was not easy being a single mother, but it was better than being stuck with a man. She pulled her skirt trying to cover her flesh perfectly before grabbing the delivery box and making her way inside. DropDead Casino was a famous hangout space for filthy men who come to squander money and also meet with little chicks, it was owned by the greatest mafia lord in the country. The place was furnished lavishly, and even the elevators were lined with gold and silver. Sophia simply held the box and did not let her eyes wander. The elevator stopped on the second floor with a ‘ding’. She walked out and quickly noticed this hall was not the same as the one downstairs which was fille

A Pet for the Mafia Dons

A Pet for the Mafia Dons

Dom shrugged into his coat and he stepped out, asking his capable manager to keep an eye on everything. Slipping behind the wheel of his SUV. He set off to the bar across the city. * A city bar in the U.S. has a very particular atmosphere, especially when someone comes in to drown his sorrows. The Devil and Sons was no different. A landmark of the craft cocktail movement, it had an extensive menu that helped innovate the modern cocktail scene

Rescued by the Beast

Rescued by the Beast

“Can’t you see I have company?” “Sheesh, this place is a genuine work of art, ain’t it?” Gia huffed a snarky response. If she was referring to the décor, it was a typical shitty dive bar atmosphere inside. A real motorcycle gang clubhouse, furnished with shitty-looking mismatched tables, chairs salvaged from off a dumpster. It had a run-down bar that stocked cheap, shitty beer and even shittier spirits. In the corner, there was a fucked-up pool table, and over by the battered sofas, there were about a dozen club whores who were spreading their legs for the boys. The noises that were coming from them were more like shrieks of pain rather than sounds of pleasure. When we're turned on, bears te

Lonely Dove

Lonely Dove

“Come on in, son. I hope you’ve the start of a crowd. If there’s anything I can’t stand it’s a dern gloomy saloon.” Lippy, content beneath his bowler, turned and shook his lip in Dish’s direction for a moment. Then he blew the shavings of his corn off the bar. “Dish ain’t much of a crowd,” he said. Dish stepped in, wishing once again that he had never heard of the town of Lonesome Dove. Jake Spoon waved at Xavier. “Davie, bring your poison,” he said. He refused to call Xavier anything but Davie. “Anybody’s

DIRTY AFFAIR WITH HIS IDENTICAL TWIN

DIRTY AFFAIR WITH HIS IDENTICAL TWIN

"You definitely picked the right one to date, though. Devin is the real deal, and Devon leaves behind a trail of broken hearts." By the way her words were slurring together, I could tell the glass of wine she ordered wasn't her first of the evening. "I think that's why Devon settles for the never-ending stream of gold-digging baddies," she continued. "Who are baddies?" I genuinely asked her. "Oh, you know," she waved her hand around.
