The Captured Mafia Bride

The Captured Mafia Bride

Her voice wavered, and she leaned slightly against the counter, the orange forgotten in her hands. I hesitated, trying to figure out what to say. “I… I was captured. Tortured. Injected with things I can’t even name. But… I’m alive. Emilio and Xiomar…” I paused, swallowed, “they saved me.” Sienna nodded slowly, still looking at me with wide, disbelieving eyes. “Emilio? Xiomar? They saved you? You… you mean… you were rescued by them?" I nodded. “Yes.”

The Devil She Knows

The Devil She Knows

It was him who rescued me. When we were being hunted, Mom called him for help. Leif was too late to save her, but he didn't stop looking until he found me. It was nothing short of some miracle that he got to me before the monster burned me alive. I didn't, however, escape unharmed. Everyone watches his exchange with Aleksander with curiosity, taking note of Aleksander's reactions. The widening of his eyes, the displeasure intensifying on his haggard face, and finally a nod.

This book is full of suspense and I really enjoyed reading it, however I think there could be more chapters before ending it. Other wise a sequel to this one. There is still one loose end that needs to be solved

I finished the novel and I want to say how impressed I am. Very good writing, great plot, good editing. I must say in the beginning I didn't like the way Camille was doing all the dirty things Alessio asked her to do, I wanted her to be a bit more defiant (continuation in reply)

My Ex-Husband is Out of Control

My Ex-Husband is Out of Control

A stunned silence filled the cellar, the doubt on many faces giving way to something else—curiosity, hope, maybe even respect. A middle-aged woman whom I heard someone call Margot leaned forward. “They rescued you?” she asked with surprise. Emily nodded. “Yes. They infiltrated the place where I was held, got me out, and brought me to safety. They risked their lives for me, and they didn’t ask for anything in return.”

Hey everyone! I’m so grateful for your love and support. I will keep up the fast pace and high quality to enhance your reading experience. I also noticed your comments. Please don’t worry about the story’s direction, I’m dedicated to letting our character get the perfect ending. Thanks a million!

Great storyline. Although, Elijah's character seems to be changing into a whole different character. From being intellectually adept to others' hidden motives being cautious and on top of their schemes to someone being passive; no longer seeking the truth whether his intuition is right or not

Marriage for a Deal

Marriage for a Deal

Amid the gunfire, a rescue mission unfolded, creating a chaotic symphony of noise. Spotting a distraught child on the ground, I hurried to his aid. Encouraging him to stand, I whispered that escaping the ordeal was our best chance. We hadn't covered much ground when a gunshot echoed, and the child, now in tears, insisted on helping me. I urged him to run, prioritizing his safety over my own. Left alone with blood seeping from my wounds, a girl of my age extended a helping hand. Despite the trembling fear in her voice, she steadied me, her words serving as a lifeline in the struggle to stay awake.

A Luna's Revenge

A Luna's Revenge

The relief I felt was out of this world when I realized we arrived on time to save them, Shira also howled excitedly as we held our cub so close. The earth seemed to stop rotating at this point, my lips parted in absolute disbelief as I stared at the two individuals looking back at me. “Mommy, these men saved us, they're my heroes!” Xavier screams cheerfully pointing at them. “Boss, we found this one trying to escape,” Chase says, breaking the silence and intense tension in the room. He held an Injured male before shoving him to his knees. “Search for any useful evidence, we'll take the hostage back with us.” I let out.

Divorced My CEO Husband, He Came Begging

Divorced My CEO Husband, He Came Begging

About the people who were supposed to be safe. Troy was right about one thing. I had been rescued, repeatedly, by people who saw my story and wanted to fix it. The question now was whether anyone would still want to rescue me when they realized how completely I'd failed at protecting the things that mattered most. * * *

The book is insanely interesting. At first, it starts like all the other novels of this genre, but quickly deviates from the clichés by being actually true to reality in terms of abusers and their behavior. The author also brilliantly addresses the reality of the "savior" trope. It's refreshing af

Totally riveting!!! Fully developed characters and unexpected plot twists with satisfying resolutions. l love that the main characters are not perfect. They are flawed despite their wealth and power which makes the novel realistic. I hate that it has to end. I'm reading the last 2 chapters tonight.

LAYLA I couldn't remember who came to my rescue. I had fainted from the cold that night in the blizzard following Adrielle's kidnap. With my body too weak to move, I had encircled my body with my arms. Half of my body, buried by snow. In the distance, I could hear wolves howling—low foreboding cries that rose and fell and in my unconsciousness I was wondering if they had come for me too. My breath had been coming in quick frantic gasps until it stopped. Then it was just cold. Then nothing happened. I was rescued though. Someone with powerful arms carefully lifted me out of the snow moving quietly and I didn't know why they chose to help me.
