Justin asked, his eyes turning hard and dark. "She is outside, " I said simply. My voice was flat empty of any emotion. "I threw her to the horde. There are no ends here. Not anymore." Justin stayed quiet for a moment. He did not look shocked. He did not tell me I was a monster. He just nodded slowly, his grip tightening on my shoulder in a show of support.
