Flipping it around, the lock screen brightened and showed a photo of two adorable toddlers. They were hugging each other, squishing their cheeks together. The two of them were the spitting image of Silas. Hell, they looked like a photo I had seen of Silas and Solaris when they were younger. It brought a smile to my face, seeing their toothy smiles. Suddenly, my smile fell. My heart sped up, and I looked up at Nate. He was still smiling, but it had softened.

I curled my lip, pouting, kinda ruffled. “Why? You ARE pretty for his eye. Right, Clay?
