One photo stopped her cold for a second. Zara, backlit by the wind, standing tall—barefoot, belly round with life, eyes locked into the lens like she owned it. Kemi sat back for a moment, lips pressed into a quiet smile. KEMI (softly, to herself) Damn, girl. You did that. She selected her top four images: a regal portrait, a serene side profile, a candid laugh mid-pose, and the powerful full-body silhouette. She layered them into a clean carousel frame using her custom branding template. The caption, however, took a little more thought.

She counted on three seconds as she clicked a picture for us. "I'm going to love this picture." Carter chuckled. We all gathered to see the pictures. The first one was all of us giggling and smiling at each other making funny faces. The second one was the one picture who I was playing as a victim. It looked cute and wow. I want to treasure or freeze this moment. "You all made me do this," I grumbled, but I love the picture. Adam held me against him as I was standing preventing me from falling. "I'm gonna post this on my I*******m!" Alex chuckled.

“I did?” He nodded. “I still have a picture of it. Hold on.” He reached into his pocket, pulled out his phone, and swiped through photos until one filled the screen. There were two small children, a boy and a girl with messy hair and red-eyed, sitting in the dirt. The girl clutched onto a tiny broken doll, while the boy pretended his leg hurt. I laughed softly through a sniffle. "Is that you and me?" “Yep. Proof that you’ve been dramatic since birth.”

Still looks for, longs for his mate. I sigh and turn back towards my desk only to be greeted by large pictures of Citra and our pups littering every inch that isn’t used for more practical things.
