The Luna’s Revenge
Every part of him screamed, *don’t, you’re too weak, it will consume you.
But he had come too far to stop.
He stretched out his hand, bloodied fingers brushing the cool surface of the gem.
White light exploded.
It seared through him, ripping him backward.
Theron screamed as the force flung him to the ground, his body convulsing.
The glow swallowed him, burning away every ounce of strength he had left.
His claws retracted, his body shuddering back into human form, bare and broken in the dirt.
He gasped, trying to rise, but his limbs refused him.
