He wasted no time in expressing his fury, his voice a thunderous growl. "Do any of you have any idea what you've brought upon us? Do you have any idea how much business alliances and trusted allies you al have cost me?" The room was paralyzed by his wrath, and none of us dared to meet his eyes. The tension was suffocating, and the fear that had gripped us was almost tangible. The man that stod before me looked nothing like the man I desperately used to crave. This one felt like the real devil, the same one the FBI painted a picture of to me. He didn’t even spare me a glance but i could rarely get the words out of my mouth.

What if something happened to him? I came out slowly while looking around the surroundings. I walk towards the gunshot sound. God, please nothing should happen to him. I saw some people in distances. I moved to them. But, what I saw and heard made my body freeze. No, this is not true. My body is trembling in fear. Those devilish eyes saw me. I forget to breathe. He walked to me. I am struggling to breathe. My breathing became short. I started to see black dots. The next second, I fell into darkness. The last thing my mind said before I passed out was “He is a devil”

I didn’t even have time to think before the trigger clicked. A sharp sting hit me in the stomach, and my breath hitched. I staggered backward, a strange coldness spreading through my veins. I looked down, dazed, and saw a thin metal dart jutting out just above my ribs. My lips parted just as the world began tilting sideways. “A… dart?” I whispered. Then everything went black. **** “Thea! Thea, wake up!” The voice sounded muffled, like I was underwater. My eyelids felt like stone, but I managed to pry them open. Light flooded in, blinding me temporarily. I groaned and blinked until my vision finally came into focus.

I wanted to forget everything, I wanted so much to get rid of the pain that I didn't care even If I sold my soul and body to the devil. I concentrated on my senses and felt a warm touch on my stomach, which reminded me of the devil. As I opened my eyes, I saw the devil lying next to me. Why did his touch feel so comfortable? The way he made me feel made me afraid. The sensation he gave my body. I disliked the idea of sex since I had never had the experience depicted in romance novels or films. That was a pleasure that I had never experienced.

I let myself fall deep into my zone with red in my sight. “Gaetano, do you understand why they say never make a deal with The Devil?” I interrupted his laugh. He looked at me with narrowed eyes as I blew out the cigarette smoke into the night sky. I flicked the bud away and met his gaze, giving him a devilish smirk. “I’m about to show you why.” I drew my guns out at the same time men jumped out from the wooden crates. And a war with fire began.

So smile brighter, love harder, and take chances. If I hadn't taken that chance of making a deal with the Devil, I wouldn't have found someone who would hold back my hair when I puked after drinking too much. I wouldn't have found someone to hold me close when I cried over lame drama scenes. I wouldn't have found someone to love and cherish.
