My Innocent Beauty

My Innocent Beauty

"You and the entire police only saying that for the past 2 months but didn’t get any result. I am fed up with this phrase of yours and don’t want to hear anything from you in your defense.” “I have enough of yours, a bunch of failures, tries. I just want the result, otherwise don’t call me again with the news of your failure and excuses.” Steve rubbed his temples, feeling headache. Steve said. “Mr. Edwards, please calm down, and try to understand our problem as well. We are an organization and works with certain rules, still, we are trying our best. Unfortunately, we have gotten no information about her till now, and her face is also not matching with any photo I'd registered in the entire c

Alpha Diego

“While he is playing the kind man and he is putting his ‘mask’ on; I currently see him for the man that he is, and I don’t think that I am foolish enough to be siding with a person like him. Nevertheless, if you truly believe that you didn’t pull that trigger, then someone else must have. Maybe that person only tried framing you.” “That possibility was one that I deleted from my head a long time ago. Had it been the case, we would have been able to find out who did it. But until now…” “The situation was closed, and you know that very well.” She said, stopping me. My chest ached, and I sucked in a harsh breath. “I believe that you are innocent if you truly believe it yourself. But if you are

The Governor's Son

The Governor's Son

Question 1: Subordinate and Unlawful Etiquette. Accused A had been convicted in a hideous crime that he didn’t do. Moreover, B has the power to twist the decision. One night, someone died, and CCTV footage recorded the accidental death of someone related to B’s boss. Now, B was captured in his physique and clear notion about the death of the person. However, the police arrested accused A, which resembled his body, and without any interrogation, they sent him to jail. The person who must be in the penitentiary was B, but A was sent to the court and judged by society; however, without any factual evidence to back up the claims during the first trial. Prisoner

Prisoner

He could only poke at his memory, trying to remember if Collette ever wanted to tell him she was pregnant or that Elliot was crazier than they thought. When he heard the light footsteps of others, memories and guilt disappeared. His body became alert; he pulled his gun out of his pants. He was there. Even though he said he would use the young men as decoys, Donnell wanted them to reach their destination. Even before Donnell knew that the boy who looked like him was perhaps his son, he tried to help them. Sixteen-year-old boys did not deserve to wander the streets in fear of being killed at any moment. The Gold Star was a place of second chances; Donnell Dunn wasn't ready for a second chance.

Submissive Academy

Submissive Academy

I try not to breathe. “Mr. Smith, as we’ve named him, was found guilty of a horrendous crime.” Aiden clicks, and a photo of a man flashes on the screen. “He refused to give his name, his birth date—any information. We had no identity. No nationality. We knew nothing of the man who murdered our president.” My breath catches. I had heard whispers of this case. Us girls are completely cut off from the outside world, but even news as big as that reached our ears.

I loved this book honestly. It was so good I couldn’t put it down. I really hope there is a sequel and they rescue the other girls trapped in the bad marriages and we can have a look at the new academy. It was a great read very well done.

This book was amazing! It was well written and the story line kept you hooked until the very end! I finished it in a day, I just couldn't put it down! I really hope the author continues on with different characters stories about life after the University. Great job!

His innocent weakness

His innocent weakness

For years, I’d looked up to that man feared him, yes, but also believed that deep down, he had a reason for everything he did. Now I saw the truth. He wasn’t protecting me. He was using me just like he’d used everyone else. And now, he’d let an unstable man take an innocent girl. I couldn’t let that stand. I shoved the files into my backpack and slung it over my shoulder. If I could get them to Mark and Nico, maybe we’d have proof maybe we could find her faster. That was when I heard footsteps. Heavy. Slow. Familiar. My blood ran cold.

CEO Dante; The one for me

CEO Dante; The one for me

Noah’s eyes lingered on me, not with pity, but with an empathy that made it easier to keep talking. He leaned forward slightly. “And what do you think about his case? If you don’t mind me asking.” I let out a shaky breath, my gaze lifting to the trees in front of us. “If I’m being honest? I believe he’s innocent. And I’m not just saying that because I love him.” Saying those words out loud made my heart twist. It was the unfiltered truth . “I know him. He’s a good man. He has literally spent most of his life building that company, pouring his entire soul into it. He wouldn’t do something careless to throw all of that away. Someone’s framing him, I’m sure of it. We just… we can’t figure out w

Falsely Accused

Falsely Accused

Under relentless pressure from both families, I confessed to a crime I didn't commit. Then I died. I used my death to atone for my "sins". My soul wandered around in a foreign country. If my body hadn't been repatriated, I would have found it hard to return to my homeland. I told myself this was for the best. If I died, the truth would stay buried. Samantha would never know. She'd never have to suffer. But no matter how much I lied to myself, the pain wouldn't stop. After the incident, Samantha developed a peculiar mental illness.

Signed to Be His Sin

Signed to Be His Sin

No matter how it ended, damage would be done. The judge entered. Order was called. And then— “Mr. Hale,” the prosecutor said, standing. “Please state your name for the record.” Marcus rose smoothly. “Marcus Elijah Hale.” A murmur rippled through the room. “You were presumed deceased,” the prosecutor continued. “Yes,” Marcus replied evenly. “That presumption was convenient. Incorrect—but convenient.” Seraphina’s jaw tightened. Lucien’s hands curled slowly. The prosecutor pressed on. “You were involved in an unregulated intelligence operation twelve years ago?”

Born Innocence

Roderick held his hands up in a non-threatening manner and looked at Angie. "I love you, Angie, stay strong." Roderick said as he looked into her terrified eyes. "Think of the baby." "lady Angelica, don't decode the missive for them it's a matter of national security! If you do you're a traitor!" Mr. Simcoe roared at her just as he attacked the man next to him. A gun went off and Mr Simcoe was dead before he hit the floor. Angie shivered at the site of his blank open eyes, knowing roderick's and the baby's fate if she fought them too.
