Stockholm Syndrome: His Prisoner

Stockholm Syndrome: His Prisoner

My life took a huge turn. I was no longer Victoria the baker. I was Arianna Bocelli, Alejandro Amato’s prisoner. “Let me go.” I dug my feet into the ground as Capello pulled me along, ropes digging into my skin. I’d recovered from my momentary shock and become dangerously stupid as I continued to yell at men who wouldn’t bat an eyelash as they sent me to the world beyond.

Marriage Prison

Marriage Prison

"If you don't want to, just give it to me." Grep! Melvin grabbed the shirt collar of the man in front of him. "She's mine!" "Relax, I'm just joking. After all, I can't possibly take what belongs to Raka Melvin Maheswara," said the man as he tried to release Melvin's hand gripping his shirt. "Good, if you understand, Delta." The man, called Delta, took a sip of the vodka that had been served earlier. "Thanks," he said to the bartender, who was wiping the glass.

His Name Is Kenai: Now I Own You, Little Sister

I ignored them all until one name flashed at the top of my inbox. From: Prison Watch Program Subject: Re: Inquiry on Inmate Kenai Lucas – Confirmation Attached. My stomach lurched. I opened the email with trembling fingers. The message was short. “As per your request, attached is the most recent visual verification of Inmate #57839. Confirmed in custody. Timestamp: Today, 08:12 AM.” I clicked on the attachment. And there he was. Kenai. Standing in line, a tray in his hand, waiting for breakfast.

The Alpha's Prisoner

The Alpha's Prisoner

I hadn't been down here since the night we'd hauled two of Marcus's tranquilized guards out of the wreckage of that vehicle chase, and in the chaos of the following days — Maya's recovery, the shift training, Leo finding his footing — I'd let Kade handle the prisoner's basic processing while I focused on the people I actually cared about keeping alive. Three days was long enough to wait. Kade fell into step beside me as I descended the stairs, a manila folder tucked under his arm. "His name's Reyes. Low-ranking enforcer, been with Silvercrest about six years. Zara cleared him medically two days ago — no lasting effects from the tranquilizer. He's been cooperative with guards, uncooperative w

Vampire Prisoner

Vampire Prisoner

He made his way back down through ops before taking another set of stairs down to the basement where they kept prisoners and held interrogations. Rose smiled at him when he came down, "who are you here for, boss?" "Whoever Ray and Air brought in last night," Dean looked past his prison manager to the guards stationed outside the occupied rooms, watching as they all stood a little straighter in his presence. "I figured as much," she gave him a sly smile, "just figured I'd asked," "Always one for formality," Dean smirked, "where is he, then?" "B6," she pointed to the guard in front of the door who gave him a sharp nod.

he uselessly repeats what is in the file. “I see that, major. I was there that day with my men; we shot Mia, too bad we did not do the same with her rebellious daughter. But luckily, she was detained so the Ministry of Obedience will handle her now,” I put the file back on the desk, uninterested by it. “Well, not exactly, commander. I am afraid we have stumble upon a bit of a conundrum, you see, prisoner 3312 used to be part of the Shark Youth Forces in our very own ministry, apparently, she was exceptionally talented...”

The Billionaires Heirs Series

“Let’s say you will help me save lives.” She nodded and showed me to continue. I told her everything I had found out about the people responsible and why I was here tonight. I gave her the information about the people and she immediately searched on her computer but something told me this was bad news as she lifted her head and looked at me with wide eyes. “What?” "Well, according to our records, they had been out on parole since three months back. I have the parole officer's name here.” What the fuck? Didn't they receive life? How the hell did this happen?

Goodbye, Mr. Ex: I've Remarried Mr. Right

Goodbye, Mr. Ex: I've Remarried Mr. Right

That would be more than enough to bribe the warden and secure her release. Leaning in closer, Shelia whispered to the crying prisoner, "I'm leaving today. You can give me the ring, and I'll find your family." "Really?" The prisoner's eyes lit up with hope. You really want to help me find them?" Shelia nodded, surprised by how gullible the prisoner was. The prisoner happily handed the ring to her and said, "I only know my dad's surname is Blair, and he lives in Seamar City. I was tricked into prostitution on my first day here. Find my dad and tell him that Kate Pena's daughter is looking for him."

I really like this book but why is it being dragged so much? Debra keeps getting herself in weird situations like the Island kidnapping and then her engagement kidnapping. I get the authors are paid by pages but if it’s too dragged then the readers eventually lose interest and move to finished books

The Rejected Ex-wife

The Rejected Ex-wife

She maintained her stance. One of the security officers rushed into the event and whispered something into Liam's ears. He blinked in uncertainty and turned to June who now held the glass cup in hand. "I just received news that a lookalike of this lady is currently at the South City Prison," Liam announced. "A nurse convicted for numerous orchestrated murders requested by Late Mr. Ethan Lontoc." June blinked, unable to believe it. "What?" Arnold wore a triumphal smile. "This is not a place to spew nonsense! You have abused the rights of this woman and she deserves an apology. We all do for your act of disrupting this event!"

Alpha's Cruel Love

Smith keeps her sane. Evelyn has also gone to a police station in search of Josh. She has got some information and she also gave an application to let her meet her brother for once. Today was the day she could finally meet Josh. She was happy and nervous as the officer accompanied her inside through the wide corridor. They strode inside a room that had a glass window that had a small circular hole in it. "Take that seat ma'am, the prisoner number 238 will be here in a minute," the officer said and her heart constricted in pain as she scowled at the officer with glossy eyes.
