Novel & Cerita Promise Me Dad

"I'm not a little girl anymore, dad." I feel his tension build up. "Just promise me, ok?" Brooding, I open the pendant and a beautiful woman with the widest smile looks back at me. "I... I promise, dad."

Dad began as Alistair lazily stalked towards him. "You will not give up, no matter what. Remember these people should not get access to your powers, you will not give up fighting. Promise me, promise me, sweetheart." Dad spoke, hid breathing had gotten heavier. "I promise, Dad," I sobbed, "I promise you, I'll not give up."

“A deal?” Adrian nods. “Yeah. If, one year from now, you still feel the same way—if you still want me to be your dad—then I promise I’ll be the best father I can be.” Liam’s eyes widen. “Really? You promise?” Adrian holds up his pinky. “Pinky promise.” Liam immediately links his tiny pinky with Adrian’s, his face lighting up with excitement. “Okay! But I know I won’t change my mind!”

My dad said darkly "Dad please have trust in me! Promise I will never hide anything to you all. Please? I love all of you and I will never betray your trust in me. I promise!" I told them sincerely "Fine but only in cafe ok? After that go home! If your not home at 6pm. I will look for you and punch the guy princess. Remember that!" My dad said. "Dad! Why are you allowing her to meet random guy;" Daniel said "Yeah! She's too young what if!"

"Of course, I can’t believe I didn’t see most of it until now, but that’s beside the point." He waved his hands in front of me. "Don’t do it, whatever you’re planning." "I’m not planning anything," I said, lying through my teeth again. I could already think of a few things off the top of my head. "Just promise me," he said. "Promise me you won’t do anything to get yourself hurt." Dad slowly stood himself up and dusted the nonexistent dust from his clothes. "Promise me," he said firmly. "Promise me you’re not going to do anything stupid."

"I have lost so much of my soul after I lost your mother." "Mother will always be with us." I told him firmly. "Always. And that's why, I don't need excuses, I need promises. Promise you'll get better? Promise you'll be our super dad once again?" Dad looked from me to Maze, his eyes weary and glossed over. But then he closed them for a second and when he reopened them once again, I saw a glimpse of the old him, the man who we admired and loved till eternity. "I promise."

“More than you’ll ever know.” We stayed like that for a long moment, the silence between us saying more than any words ever could. Finally, Theo pulled back, wiping at his face with his sleeve. He looked up at me, his green eyes bright. “You better keep your promise, Dad.” “I will,” I assured him, my voice firm. “I’ll never break it, Theo.” He gave me a small, tentative smile before stepping back. “Okay. I’ll see you later.” He turned to leave but stopped at the door, glancing back at me with a look that made my heart twist. “And Dad?”

They had given me a chance. "Okay, Father," Cameron said, his voice soft. "We'll give you a chance. But you have to promise us something." "Anything, son," I said eagerly. "Anything you want. Just ask." “Chase spoke up, his voice resolute. “You must promise us that you will never abandon us again.’” I nodded solemnly. "I promise, son," I said sincerely. "I promise I’ll never leave you again.”

Would it be successful? “Promise me you’ll stay away from this Leon. At least until I am one hundred percent sure he is a human. If I find out he is who we are looking for I will kill him.” Dad looks at me with worried and fearful eyes. He has never asked such a thing from me and given how scared he looks right now I comply with his request. “I promise father. I’ll stay away from Leon. I’ll stay safe.” Father embraces me and gives me a kiss on the top of my head as I swear I feel a tear fall from his face.
