Xy slowly stood, meeting the man’s stare, ready to wipe the floor with him all over again with plenty of witnesses to prove who the real aggressor was. “I’ll kill you, you son of a bitch. I’m going to make you pay. She’s never getting away from me. She can run, but she can’t hide. Ask her, she’ll tell you I always find her,” Danny said.

I know Danny is not that old, yet he’s not that young either. How could he scare off half a dozen young men with toned muscles and silver guns strapped to them? “Bastards like them pretending to be hunters ain’t no threat to me,” Danny shrugs, and I just look at him. “Now get back to work,” He says, patting my shoulder, stepping past me and clearing his throat but I follow him with my gaze.

The deputy that left to secure the ship emerged from it, his eyes filled with urgency. "What new?" he asked, his voice low. "The survivors are not what we thought they were," I said, my voice low and menacing. "They are members of a rival cartel." The deputy's eyes widened, his voice filled with concern. "You're sure?” "Personal confirmation," I replied, my voice growing louder. "We will feed on their blood before disposing of their corpses."

Hearing Daniel's name, Danny punched the wall furiously and said, "This time, not even his pack and family can save. Last time his father and brother died but this time his whole pack will face death. You asked for it Daniel, yourself."

"What, you still scared, Hamster?" I wrapped the robe tighter around myself, suddenly feeling a bit shy. "I’m not scared of the water," I insisted. "I just... didn’t bring a suit. And it’s like three in the morning." He swam closer, resting his forearms on the ledge, water streaming down his arms and dripping from his dark hair.
