Her face darkened instantly, her jaw tightening, nostrils flaring like an angry bull.
“You lying little slut,” she hissed, her voice shaking with rage. “You’re nothing but a stain to this school. Do you think anyone wants you here? Look around — nobody even sits with you. You think because you’re suddenly living with a rich family, you belong here? News flash, Abigail, you don’t.”
Her words hit deep, sharper than any blade. But still, I forced a weak smile at her…though it was trembling. “You have no right to order me around,” I said softly. “And you have no right to tie me up like this. This is bullying.”
