The Warrior Queen Returns

The Warrior Queen Returns

All he had told him was that he was searching for a woman. Miko had asked no questions. “What is it?” Killian asked, forcing his voice into a calm register. “They found bodies in the back room of the Arena. Rogues.” He reached into his satchel and pulled out something small wrapped in cloth. “And this.” He held it out for Killian, who stood. Killian took the cloth in this hand and unwrapped it slowly. It was a long needle and a handful of shattered glass. He stared at it for a long moment.

THE ROGUE QUEEN

THE ROGUE QUEEN

I sent through the bond. “For what?” “For making it clear I'm not a bargaining chip.” “You're my Queen. My bonded partner. The Council can have you over my dead body.” His voice through the bond was absolute. “And that's not happening.” “Our King is fierce,” Kya observed with satisfaction. “Our Queen is worth being fierce for,” Rex replied. That evening, we actually made it to our chambers. "This is ridiculous," I said as Damon pressed me against the closed door. "We can't keep doing this every few hours.”

Silver Queen of Lunar Ridge

Silver Queen of Lunar Ridge

I stood near the back of the room by the heavy oak doors, holding my simple wooden mop. My body was aching with a deep, hot pain. The royal magic fire inside my blood was thrashing violently against my ribs, reacting to the heavy Alpha pressure filling the hall. A bitter taste of blood flooded my mouth. I tightly shut my mouth, forcing my teeth together as I swallowed the hot blood back down my throat. I kept my back straight and my face calm. Beneath my grey sleeve, my ancient royal crest birthmark remained completely hidden in the dark.

Queen Alpha

“Fine. I guess I can give her control…” “You guess? What do you mean you guess? Koa don’t make force the shift back like that night again. Koa rolled her eyes before asking someone for a blanket. Some girl searched through her bag and handed it to Gunner who took it and held it up to shield us from the crowd. “Shower time!” Koa winked, she actually winked at him! Gunner turned his head so as to not look as we shifted back. Once I was back in control and hurriedly put my clothes back on that I had tied around my ankle and then tackled Gunner to ground who was still looking away while holding up the blanket.

Great read! Especially for a new author. Interesting story that kept me engaged. Loved the slow introduction of characters that allowed me to get to know each one. However, if you are looking for steamy bedroom scenes, you will find this lacking.

The Pretty Prince and the Beast King

The Pretty Prince and the Beast King

He didn't hide his mate. "Kaelor of the Iron Ridge. And I'm here to talk to the Red Queen." The eyes narrowed. A dozen crossbows clicked. "The Red Queen doesn't talk to traitors," the voice said. A woman stepped into the light. She had a jagged scar across her throat and a crown made of wolf teeth. She looked at Kaelor. Then she looked at Aradaa. "Is that him?" she asked. "The Siphon?" "He's my mate," Kaelor said.

HER MARRIAGE TO THE VAMPIRE KING

HER MARRIAGE TO THE VAMPIRE KING

she whispered back. “You will not regret my wife that you waited awake for me,” he said again, this time his voice started to get hoarse. He kissed her again until he laid himself on top of her. Their kisses continued until he broke free for a while to remove her night dress and to remove his white robe. Luna Queen Neoma was so surprised to know that inside his white robe, Alpha King Burkoo was already naked. He removed her last black little piece that was covering her secret gem. Once again, her eyes grew wide.

The Alpha Queen and her Human Mate

The Alpha Queen and her Human Mate

“You’ll only get in the way.” He opened his mouth to argue, but the sharp crack of a twig snapped them both into silence. Shadows moved between the trees, shifting, watching. Three rogues stepped out, eyes yellow and hungry, claws extended, grinning with teeth too sharp, too eager for blood. “Well, well,” the largest one rumbled, his voice like gravel. “The Alpha Queen herself, babysitting her human toy.” Ragnar stiffened behind her, but Raven didn’t look back. Her focus was on the rogues, her stance loose but ready, her wolf pressing against her skin ready to take over.

Replaced by His First Love

Her heart hammered—a drum of war and dread. She reached for the tactical bag Kael packed for her. Her fingers brushed the leather-wrapped jade pendant he had given her. Her jaw set. The Queen had returned. “If they want a monster,” she hissed, drawing her silver-alloy blades, “I’ll give them one they can’t contain.” The first drone crashed into the East Wing balcony, red camera-eye glowing like a promise of execution. The war wasn’t coming. It was already inside the house.

Rowan let out a defensive snarl, his amethyst fire guttering as the circle tightened. "The Queen is back," the woman in the lab coat sneered, "but even a Queen can be forgotten." **The assassins lunged.**

Frequently Asked Questions

Rogue from the 'X-Men' universe has one of the most fascinating power sets in comics—her ability to absorb the memories, powers, and even the life force of others through skin contact is both a gift and a curse. I love how her storyline explores the emotional weight of this power; she can't touch anyone without risking harm, which makes relationships incredibly hard for her. Over time, she learns to control it somewhat, but early on, it's a source of constant angst. The writers really lean into the tragedy of her character, especially with her romantic tension with Gambit, where even a simple kiss is dangerous.

What's really cool is how her powers evolve. After absorbing Ms. Marvel's abilities permanently, she gains super strength, flight, and durability, which totally changes her role in the team. It's not just about stealing powers temporarily anymore—she becomes a powerhouse in her own right. But even then, the psychological scars remain. I think that duality is what makes her so compelling. She's not just a hero; she's someone struggling with the literal and metaphorical cost of connection.
