Unexpected. “I came to help you prepare,” she continues, stepping inside. “Prepare?” I ask. “There will be visitors tonight,” Viola adds gently. “It is a tradition that all the king’s wives are present.” My chest tightens slightly. A gathering. A public one. “There is also a particular way you must dress,” the Queen Mother says. Before I can respond, she holds something out to me. A gown. Black. Elegant. Simple, yet striking.

She start off by having a small talk then proceed to open the card. "Oohh...I think you all already know who's the queen is. Bianca Sterling!" We all clapped whereas I didn't bother to do so. "Okay next for the homecoming king...Liam Smith!" A loud cheers erupt from the crowds but mostly from his basketball team. They place the crown on their heads and a sash on their shoulders. "Now it's time for the king and queen dance!"
