Ramona Emerson Books Novels & Stories

Emerson Em woke up the next morning feeling awful. Her head was pounding, and she felt like she had been run over by a bus. She sat up, dizzily, and noticed she was still wearing her clothes from yesterday, but they were covered in grass stains and dirt. “Oh no.” She slightly panicked at the realization that she couldn’t remember how that happened. But she knew she didn’t go anywhere last night. The last thing she remembered was her bright idea to make soup for Aspen. Did she take it to her?

A guy yells. I see Emerald freeze as she turns around to a smirking Raven. None of us knows who this could be. We walk up to see a guy that looks like Raven on his computer. “Hey, Ryan how have you been?” She asks with the sweetest voice. “Don’t use that sweet voice on me. Where in the hell have you been? You can’t just run off like that.” Ryan tells her. “Who are they?” Ryan asks.

She was so worried about Ramona that she could not think straight. "It will bind her to her kind, awaken her abilities, and she will be strong enough to save herself, her child, and possibly that mate of hers! Now, touch the fucking book and let me do what I want!" Roman yelled and pressed his palm against the book's cover, pointing it at them. Gripping a corner of the book, Tiana slowly released Lorenzo's arm and held his hand. The book began to glow brightly, similar to Ramona's eyes. It was an action that gave Lorenzo some hope. And reluctantly, he gripped another corner of the book.

Every thought in her head vanished as her eyes narrowed to focus on the ring on Emory's finger—the Aegis Solis ring. Ramona's expression changed drastically. It was as if her heart had stopped as she found the courage to lift Emory's hand. "Luna," she whispered, her eyes fixed on the Aegis Solis ring. "How did you come to wear this ring?" "The ring?" Emory stammered slightly, startled by how abruptly Ramona had changed the subject. "Oh, the ring. Um, I—" Her eyes widened as a possibility flashed through her mind. Ramona's reaction was a clear indication of something important. "Ramona, do you know this ring?"

It wasn’t for anyone but me, and yet here Emma White was, reading all of it. “You know,” Emma said, flipping through the pages, “this is rather interesting. How many love notes have you written in this book? A hundred? Two hundred?” “Give it back,” I growled, marching toward her. But Emma twirled away. “Tsk, tsk,” she purred. “So silly, Rowena. What makes you think that the strongest warrior in this school would ever fancy the likes of… you? A wolfless little nerd from the New Moon pack.”

They come back at four. Emma comes through the door first, which surprises me, and she is carrying a bag from the bookstore, and she does not say hello right away, she goes directly to the kitchen island and sets the bag down and starts removing books from it with the focused, methodical energy of someone conducting an inventory. Three books on astronomy. One on architectural drawing. A slim volume on the history of bridge construction that she sets slightly apart from the others. “The bridge one is for a project,” she says, without looking up. “But it’s also just interesting.”
