Sitting on a chair nearby, Randy Brown was smoking a cigarette gracefully. His ten bodyguards were standing in a row behind him. Randy Brown looked at the bloodied body of Rogers and his lips curled up into a smirk. I should have trusted my first instincts. “So why the whole fucking charade?” I ask. “What’s going on here?” “Well, it all has to do with that serial killer from September. He’s not a random psychopath. He’s Ninja.” Fuck. My fears confirmed. Ninja was the code name of Nick Jin, a former PSK who went rogue and was therefore turned over by THEM to the Feds. He was known as Ninja because, prior to joining THEM, he used the disguise of a ninja and used various samurai weapons to murder his victims. If Nick Jin really has gotten free and is on the loose, that is bad news for THEM.

Kayden immediately picked up the phone when he saw it was Randy calling him. Randy was the head of his elite guards from his secret organization; he was a top hacker and had a knack for gathering intelligence. He had information on even the most secretive big shots and politicians in the United States. He was previously an agent in the CIA, and Kayden had only been able to bring him over to his side by using great effort. “I'm all ears,” Kayden said into the phone as soon as it connected. “You won't believe who just arrived in town to play,” Randy said in a cheerful tone.

One of Justin's men, Nigel, was visibly nervous. He avoided eye contact and tried to remain calm as Randy, a large and intimidating figure, approached him. Randy motioned to one of the bodyguards standing behind him and said, "Let's do what Ms. Turner said. Throw them all in the creek since they won't talk. We'll start with this guy." He pointed at Nigel. "Got it," the bodyguard replied blankly. He immediately grabbed Nigel and took him to the creek.

That was Randy. She passed her phone to Marion, who was as clueless. Jordan went on, "I found more. When Randy was little, he trained abroad in programs customized by Enoch. One part was a brutal week-long test. Out of 100 kids, only one wins. Every year, the winners turn into top dogs in the field. Randy won 17 years ago. The word is that he took down a kid seven years older. It's sparse, mostly overseas stuff. He didn't stay long."
