The battlefield grew strangely quiet after Darius spoke. Although the fight between the warriors and the underworld creatures continued in the distance, the center of the ritual ground felt frozen. The dark smoke from the rift continued to rise behind Darius, twisting slowly in the air. Lyrian stood still with his sword in his hand, his sharp eyes fixed on Darius. Aria remained beside him, her expression serious and alert. Clara, who was still sitting weakly on the ground, tried to listen despite the pain spreading through her body.
