Until now, strange short stories had only very short stories. But from volume two I intend to add stories that have 10 to 20 captains as well. These stories are not so long nor have so much visibility as a separated book. For this reason, I decided to move all then into strange short stories, that is already a storybook of different themes.

She found it funny to tell me horror stories before bed. I remembered once returning the favor. I told her about Terry the ghost, a boy who’d died in an accident on the street across from our house. Terry’s ghost wandered our neighbor’s house where his family had once lived. Mom hadn’t slept alone for weeks after that, and she never told me another horror story. My mom was like me in some ways—she was terrified of the paranormal, or anything religious. That’s why her engagement to Bill had been such a shock. But even Mom had gotten braver, so why couldn’t I?

.. Tales of vampires and ghosts can only be seen in movies or in mystery books created by authors with deep imaginary thinking. They are Made up stories and nothing more. Maybe I was wrong! I tried to control my nerves but heavy fear gripped me. I shined the torchlight towards the direction of the noise but nothing looked odd. I swallowed hard and took a minute to gather my nerves before taking another step forward.

He decided to wait for them till they returned. Cold breeze danced about in the car making goosebumps fill his body, he began to shiver in fear and his breathing was unusually fast. He felt a hand touch his back, his eyes widened and he froze then he turned around to see who touched him but he saw no One. He was nervous, he knew the car wasn't safe anymore, he knew he had to step out of the car. He was still contemplating whether to leave now or not when the car opened and a ghost appeared at him then disappeared almost immediately. He screamed, the sight was too terrifying to see, the ghost then stretched it's skeleton hands forward to get him but it's hands didn't reach him. Mr Wellspring

'The obliviousness of the night is as atrocious as the hour. “So, what do you intend to tell me? That I am a prawn for your non-executed affairs into this human forsaken island.” “I'd like to eat some of those. It's Halloween, lusting after sea food might not be as beneficial as clawing my nails into your skin and drinking every drop of blood from you.” The Ghost humored. “I won't be surprised if you actually do that?” Matt confirmed.

"Everyone has a story, Joan. It's part of the tradition.." I looked at Emily. She smiled encouragingly at me. The room fell silent as they waited for me to begin. I took a deep breath, searching my mind for a story. I remembered a story my mom told me when I was younger. “There was once an old mansion far away from a hidden, forgotten town,” I began “It was said to be haunted by the spirit of a young woman. The woman was a bride who had died on her wedding night.” Sarah and Emily gasped.

"Don't tell ghost stories in broad daylight!" Zhiluan somersaulted twice on the ground before taking flight again. "I'm not telling you stories! If you look into the mirror and see a long-haired female ghost in red on your back, that means the ghost has caught hold of your life. She's there to make you her scapegoat..." Following Zhiluan's incessant and horrifying storytelling, Qingyu covered her ears. Liu Feiyan stomped her foot and huffed in anger. "Xiao Chen! Aren't you going to control your cat? This place is scary enough without him telling us all these stories!"

“Why is that your first thought? Of all the supernatural things, you jump straight to ghosts?” “Yes, ghosts!” she shot back, crossing her arms. “We live in a world where vampires, werewolves, and witches are real, Lia! Ghosts aren’t that far-fetched!” “Okay, okay, fair point,” I conceded, holding up my hands. “And don’t even pretend they’re not real,” she added quickly. “I’ve heard too many stories to believe otherwise.” “Stories, huh?” I smirked. “Let me guess, you heard about some haunted house from a ‘friend of a friend’?”

"But. . . but. . ." "Seriously, there's no such thing as ghosts, or witches, or witch hunters," Gina raged, reaching her limits of patience. "Those are just make-believe scary stories. Lame ones for that matter and if you're so scared by a story told by a sick, dumb girl then you don't deserve to be in the vampire team." "Okay, sheesh! There's no need to get all snappy," Katie said, stepping forward before she turned to the others. "Come on, guys. Let's get this done with."

And I didn’t expect her to fucking torture me with that image. I want to lose myself in her right now, but I also want to see that gleam in her eye when she learns something new. I take a deep breath. I promised myself a real shot with her, so ghost stories it is. But damn, it’s gonna be one hell of a long night. “Can you die from blue balls?” Hendrix mocks. “Ready to explore the supernatural tales of Waterloo?” She asks, biting her lip, her voice filled with excitement. “I’ve grown up around these legends, remember?” I say, still trying to pull myself together.
