Reading Novels In English Novels & Stories

Sumico took a look at her best friend’s romance novels one by one. “Hanny’s got the newest edition of this novel. Later on, I’ll borrow this from her. I’ve been trying to search for it and it hasn’t been published in Indonesian, though. But this one… Hanny’s got the English edition. I’ll definitely borrow this English edition from her when she’s come back later,” muttered Sumico excitedly.

I didn't realize how behind I am with my reading. I almost panicked when I saw this year's novel. It's 1984 by George Orwell, who thought this would be a good idea. On a normal day I would have enjoyed it but right now I'm on a deadline to complete three assignments based on the book.

Zehra turned the last page of the novel she'd found in Lawrence's bedchamber earlier that day. It had been so wonderful to find an engaging read. Suddenly, Emily burst into laughter as she began to read the romantic comedy novel. Line by line, paragraph by paragraph, her beautiful eyes followed along. Reading romantic comedy novels was always a mood booster for Emily. Besides enjoying the fantasy, Emily also gleaned moral lessons from them. For her, reading was not just about entertainment but also about capturing the positive side, which was the main goal of every writer.
